Hanna peek- Day Two and a Beautiful Butterfly

Hi everyone, I have a couple cards to share today. The first card is for Day Two of the Hanna Sneak Peeks! In case you missed my announcement yesterday, I am the April guest designer for Hanna Stamps! Today, I have a peek at the Mommie To Be set. Man oh man, don't you wish we all looked that cute on the birthing ball?!? I mean, just look at that hair and the cute maternity leggings set and WHERE'S her swollen feet?!? LOL!

I made this card for my friend who is pregnant with her third baby and just discovered she's having a boy! So Mem, if you are reading this, it's heading your way!

The image is colored with Copic markers and the DP is from the DCWV Citrus matpack -man I really love the colors in that paper. The primas all have blue rhinestones in the centers and are painted with Angel Wings Shimmerz. Here is a close up pic, you can see I made a double loop bow. You can check out this post for tutorial info.

The Hanna release party is on Monday, April 6th at 9pm Eastern time. You can go to the Hanna Forum on SCS for all the fun, games, challenges and lots of chatting!

The next up is a double challenge card. I used this week's sketch challenge and yesterday's Limited Supplies challenge which was to use:

1 piece of cardstock color - I used Certainly celery
2 pieces of DP - I used DCWV Garden Party
3 embellishments -I used a gem brad, ribbon and pearls

The stamp set is Verve's new release Beautiful Kindness. The image panel and butterfly is popped on dimensionals. I used Lime Green stickles all over the butterfly and trail -very sparkly IRL.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back tomorrow for Day Three peeks!

Double challenge card with more rub-ons

Hi there! When I saw today's SCS limited supplies challenge was to use GREEN on your card I decided to continue using the rub-ons that were still on my desk from last night's set.

I used the Old Olive Love and Happiness pack (last year's SAB) and paired it with a touch of Pink Pirouette. What's up with me doing CAS this week? I am liking the simplicity of doing CAS cards. You may see a bit more of this kind from me :-) Maybe I am channeling Silke -LOL!

The sketch I followed was this week's sketch from Amy Rysavy. I love her weekly sketches, but rarely have time to play. Today I fell in love and HAD to incorporate it with my LSC card. Thanks Amy!

Don't forget to enter for my blog candy if you own a Cricut! You can enter at this post here.
Also, there is a SUPAH big sale going on at Verve's store. She is making room for the next release in March -which, if I do say so myself, is AMAZING!
AND, Lindsey has some amazing new Inkadinkado, Prima and Basic Grey stuff in the store!
Card Deets:
Stamps and Ink: none
Paper: pink pirouette, old olive, white, old olive DSP
Accessories: rub-ons pack, pink bling, pink ribbon, corner rounder

Clean and simple gift set

Today's SCS Limited Supplies challenge (LSC205) was to make a Clean and Simple card (CAS). I don't do these often. For some reason, if the card doesn't have lots of layers, ribbon, and bling, I feel like I am "short changing" the receiver. Silly, I know!

Anyway, my friend has her birthday this Sunday and I jumped on this chance to make her a set of cards. I love how they turned out! I am in love with punches and they made these cards really fast to make. I made all 5 in less than an hour!
The set includes 2 birthday cards, a baby boy and girl card and a Valentine's card for her DH. She doesn't check my blog, so I am safe to post them here!! LOL!

Check out the Martha Stewart punches!! She has the BESTEST punches. I just bought the Royal Butterfly yesterday and I am already in LOVE! Did you see the embossing/border punch combo on the bottom of the card on the right?? This was part of the blog candy I won from America (see this post)!!

Oh, and don't ask me why as posting pictures is a mystery to me. But, if you click on my pictures, they get bigger again!

Thanks for stopping by!

Card Deets:
Stamps - Verve Family Phrases and Hearts on Fire, PTI Birthday Basics
Paper - soft sky, PTI spring moss and sweet blush
Accessories - various punches, ribbon and bling
