Altenew Botanical Plaid card with tag and a DISCOUNT Code!

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing my final project with Altenew as an Ambassador. I want to give a big thank you to Altenew for inviting me to be a small part of the family!!
My card today uses a few products from the November release!
I have a minute long video showing how my card was put together. Head over to my Instagram page to check it out!
My card features the Botanical Plaid bundle which features a 6 in 1 stencil set with coordinating dies and I added the adorable bee from the Bubbly Bumble Bee die set. I used 5 of the stencils with the inks linked below on Bristol Smooth cardstock, the 6th stencil makes the vertical stripes (making it plaid).
To give the cute bee some personality, I die cut the wings from vellum and painted them with a Frosty Blue shimmer pen. I also used a Sunshine Yellow shimmer pen on the yellow parts.
Next I made a little coordinating tag using the Best Wishes Tags die set and a die cut flower from a testing panel! I love how these turned out! 💖
If you are interested in shopping at Altenew, I have a discount code just for my followers!

Altenew Blossoms of Encouragement and IG GIVEAWAY!

Hi crafty friends! The Altenew November release is live and I have a beautiful floral card using one of the new 3D Embossing Folders as the background. This release features inks, wax seals, wax beads, stamps, dies, and MORE! 💖💖
Check out the card I made and scroll down for supply list and giveaway details.
My card focuses on the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Blossoms of Encouragement. This kit has a stunning floral stamp with coordinating die set, a coloring layering stencil, 3D embossing folder. I think these kits are the best bang for your buck with a cost of $66!
To start my card, I used the NEW Crisscross Blooms 3D Folder with light blue cardstock and adhered it to my card base. I used my large Misti and stamped my image on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut it out. I usually stencil my image before cutting it out, but this image is so large that stencils (6x6) fits around the cut image better. To add some depth and details, I used some Prismacolor pencils. I love how this turned out!

Altenew Giveaway Reminder, Build-A-Flower: Primrose card

Hi everyone! This is a throwback card I made awhile ago using the stunning Altenew Build-A-Flower: Primrose stamp and die set (currently on sale for $17.50) and the add-on layering die set (currently $12.99).
I wanted to post a reminder there is STILL TIME to enter my IG Giveaway sponsored by Altenew.
💥💥Head over to my IG page to enter for a chance to win $20 gift card!💥💥
My card uses the Build-A-Flower: Primrose layering stamp set. It is hard to see, but I used the add-on dies for the flower centers.
The background is the now retired Tiled Chevron 3D folder, but they have a great array of 3D folders with a geometric theme. I used my Nesting Circle dies to make rings from black cardstock and arranged them over a small strip of patterned paper. A bit of pink twine gives the overall card a softer feel. I love how this turned out!

Altenew October Release and IG Giveaway

Hi crafty friends! The Altenew October release is live and I have a fun card using one of the new layering die sets. This release features watercolor tube colors, stamps, dies, embossing folders and MORE! 💖💖
Check out the card I made and scroll down for supply list and giveaway details.
My card uses the new Mix Foliage Layering die set which features 5 flowers, 5 branch and leaves creating charming daisy-type flowers. The set uses the Smart Keyhole system for layering!
To start my card, I used the Circle Quilt Cover die from white cardstock and adhered it to my card base and added black splatter. I die cut my flowers from 2 shades of peach cardstock and my leaves from blue. I added glitter marker to all my die cuts to keep everything extra sparkly!
The sentiment is from the Timeless Sentiment die set and I cut it 3 times from black glossy cardstock. I also die cut the flower centers with the same black glossy cardstock. I love how this turned out!!

Enjoy Your Day circle card AND Altenew FREE gift with purchase

Hi crafty friends! This pretty circle card uses a few goodies from Altenew AND scroll down for a FREE gift with purchase Altenew offered to my blog readers!
You know I love me a circle card and was super excited when Altenew included their newly released Nesting Circles die set in my Ambassador box! This set has 17 dies with the largest circle measuring 4.25" and the smallest measuring at .25". Also included in my box was the Delightfully Dotted press plate which has dainty tiny dots that can be inked up or foiled.
To make my flowers, I used the Delightfully Dotted press plate on Bristol Smooth cardstock and inked it with Hydrangea ink and die cut it with the Craft-A-Flower: Prairie Rose Layering die set. If you are new to Craft-a-Flower sets, they have a special Keyhole system which lets you perfectly line up all the flower layers every time!! I inked the centers and edges with a soft pink and added touches of stickles to the edges. I just love how this turned out 💖

Altenew Giveaway reminder, Sulfer Cosmos card

Hi everyone! This is a throwback card I made last year using the stunning Altenew flower dies.
I wanted to post a reminder there is STILL TIME to enter my IG Giveaway sponsored by Altenew.
💥💥Head over to my IG page to enter for a chance to win $20 gift card!💥💥
CRAFT-A-FLOWER: SULFUR COSMOS DIE SET

My card uses the gorgeous Sulfer Cosmos die set which is part of their Craft-A-Flower series. I looked up Sulfer Cosmo flowers and found out they are rich yellows, oranges and red colors. They are stunning!
I die cut the flowers and leaves from Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blended colors on them. After I inked the petals and assembled the flowers, I used glitter brush markers to give a rich shimmer and dimension to them. I also added shimmer to the sentiment and leaves.
The background is the Circle Quilt Cover die cut from black cardstock adhered to a black card base.
I don't make cards with black backgrounds often, but I love how this turned out!

Altenew September 2025 release, Aspen Sky

Hi crafty friends! Today is the September release day over at Altenew and I have a fun card featuring one of the layering stencils. This entire release is stunning and you should check it all out!
This layering stencil is called Stencil Art: Aspen Sky and it is stunning! The stencil set has 6 stencils and stencil #4 has 2 stenciling images on it, so really there are 7 layers. There is SO much detail with this!
I went with non-traditional fall colors for my tree and used my Enchanted Garden purple ink quad and I think it came out stunning. Their ink quad have colors from lightest to darkest, so using the inks with the stencil was a breeze! For the sky, I kept it traditional blues using the Lapis Luzuli blue ink quad. As always I use Bristol Smooth cardstock as I am guaranteed amazing results with ink blending.
The sentiment is from the Timeless Sentiment die set and I cut it 3 times in a chocolate brown cardstock to bring out the dark tones of the tree trunk.
What do you think? Are you a fan of layering stencils?

Altenew Ambassador, IG Giveaway and 2 cards for 1

Hi crafty friends! I have some fun news, Altenew contacted me and asked me if I was interested in being a brand ambassador for the next 3 months and I immediately said YES! This means over the next few months I'll be sharing Altenew inspiration, using both new and fan favorite products, AND I'll be hosting an Instagram giveaway each month.💖💖
Check out the cards I made and scroll down for supply list and giveaway details.
My cards use the gorgeous Captivating Floral Swag collection. I stamped, stenciled and die cut the image and THEN cut it in half to create 2 cards! Basically getting 2 cards out 1 image.
I love a good twofer 😍
Making these cards is the first time I have used the reformulated Altenew Fresh Dye Inks and I am really impressed! The inks go on smoothly and blend really nice. I stamped on Bristol Smooth cardstock which is what I always use with my Layered Stencils for the best results.
Here's a closer look at each card.
The Fresh Dye Inks come 4 inks to each pack and retail for $32 (keep eye out for sales!). OR you can get Mini Cube sets of 4 which retail for $15. The colors all range in shade from light to dark which takes out the guess work for your layered stamping or stenciling projects!
I really love how my cards turned out!
