Sizzix and Catherine Pooler Rainbow Arches and Bright Butterflies

Hi crafty friends! I'm excited to be collaborating with Scrapbook.com to share inspiration for the latest collaboration release between Catherine Pooler and Sizzix.
💥This entire release is absolutely adorable! Be sure to check it out.💥
Check out what I made and scroll down for supplies used.
My baby card duo uses the Rainbow Arches die set combined with the Birthday Bunting die set for the BABY letters. The soft muted neutral colors and patterns are from the A2 Darling paper pad.
This paper pad is perfect for those expecting parents who want to be surprised with the gender!
I think it's fun to die cut both solids and patterns with the rainbow pieces. This paper pad has several solids that coordinates with the patterns making it super easy.
--------------------------------------
This simple butterfly card uses the new Border Party Circles die set and the Bright Butterflies Stamp and die set. I used a strip of paper from the A2 Bouquet paper pad and colored the butterfly to match! I die cut the body and trimmed a strip of Onyx Glitter paper for a pop of sparkle!
I love how all of these turned out!

Today I'm sharing inspiration for the Happy Garden 2 layering stencil set. There are 4 stencils in this set measuring 4.3" x 6.3". I really love the whimsical vibe of the flowers and leaves in this set.
I used my Distress Oxide inks with Bristol Smooth cardstock. The sentiment and accent stars are from the Birthday Bunting die set die cut with black glitter cardstock. To add some more glitz, I cut a 1/8" strip of Antique White glitter cardstock and added it to the left. A simple twine bow completes the card. I love how this turned out!

Sizzix and Catherine Pooler April collaboration, Day 2 inspiration

Hi everyone! Welcome to day 2 of my collaboration with Scrapbook.com to share inspiration for the latest collaboration release between Catherine Pooler and Sizzix! If you missed my first card, you can check it out here.
This release features hot air balloons, kites and birthday banners! There are: 4 die sets, 1 3D Texture Embossing Folder, 1 layering stencil set and 3 stamp sets!
This entire release is fabulous! Be sure to check it out.
My fun shaker card uses In the Clouds layering stencil set for the background, the Sky's the Limit 2 die set for the kite, the Floating Fancy die set for the flower accents and Sky's the Limit stamp set for the sentiment.
The In the Clouds comes with 4 layering stencils. To achieve this muted effect, I used the first 3 layers with 2 colors of ink. The shaker kite was made using the largest kite in the Sky's the Limit die set. I die cut the kite 10 times from cardstock, filled the openings with 2 colors of the Shimmer Flakes
I couldn't resist adding flower accents, so I used the small flower and leaves from the Floating Fancy die set die cut from coordinating colors.

I just love how this turned out! Stay tuned for 1 more cards using this collab collection!

Clean and Simple cards

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing a few cards I've made these last few weeks. Like many, after the holidays I went into a bit of a stamping slump, but found my way back after one of my crafty besties, Katie and me started to FaceTime in the craft room! It's been great for both of us. We get to craft together and still have all our stuff -lol!

First up is a fun distress oxide blended panel over a white embossed image. This was a bit out of my comfort zone, but Katie challenged me to ink blend and I went for it!
Stamp set: May Flowers,  Gina K Designs
Distress inks used: Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Squeezed Lemon

Next up is a super CAS card which ended up being one the most favorite card I've made in a long time!
Stamp Set: Floral Bits 2 by The Ton Stamps
Linear Crossroads die: Altenew
Flower Inks: It's a Boy, Suede Shoes Catherine Pooler and Blue Raspberry Gina k designs
Leaves ink: Evergreen and Parsley Concord and 9th

Lastly is this cutie Gnome thank you card. I mean just look at this cutie! I have some ideas to switch the papers up and make a Valentine's Day version.
Gnome dies: Gnome for the Holidays collab kit by Gina K Designs and Thermoweb
Thank You die: Pink Fresh Studio
Papers: Welcome Winter by Carta Bella from Stamp Simply
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Stay tuned on Monday for a few Valentine's Day cards from the new Gina K Designs release!

Pinkfresh Studio layering stencils

Hi everyone! One good thing about taking a break from crafting is when you come back you get to discover some new fun products! I recently discovered the layering floral stencils from Pink Fresh Studio and I'm not looking back!

These are genius for crafters who don't color images OR don't have the time or energy to color. The stencils are numbered and have alignment marks which makes them super easy to use. Just remember to stencil your colors from light to dark and the stencils do the work for you!!

First up is a card using the stunning Daisy Wreath stencil set and some of my favorite Catherine Pooler ink colors. The card front is die cut from their Slimline Stitches die and I added a few strips of silver washi tape I had in my stash from years ago. The sentiment is from Stamp Simply's Farmhouse Simple Sentiments.

Next is a set of cards using the Garden Florals stencil set. These use my favorite ink colors from both Catherine Pooler and Gina K! I added a touch of stickles on the flowers, but next time I will stencil in some versamark ink and emboss with some glitter powder -how pretty that will be.

What about you? Have you tried the layering stencils yet? Are you in LOVE?!?  Am I just late to the stencil party? LOL!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

The Ton Group Layering Stamps

Hi everyone! A few months back my crafty friend Katie introduced me to the *patent pending* group layering stamps by The Ton Stamps. And I fell in love! Like seriously, these layering stamps are brilliant and fool proof and I probably will never go back to traditional layering stamps again. And if that wasn't enough enabling, she also introduced me to Catherine Pooler inks! WOW, these inks are amazing and I'm well on my way to owning them all. They are a pigment, so they don't stain (too badly) clear stamps and they have excellent coverage with no pooling!

I haven't blogged in awhile, so I will post lots of cards below and list stamp sets and the color combinations I used for the flowers. Note you have to purchase the matching dies for all these stamp sets, it's part of the system. Not gonna lie, these are an investment, but so worth it!!

Floral Bits 2 stamp set

Flower color combinations (all CP inks unless noted) listed light to dark:
Blue flowers (first card) - It's A Boy, Something Borrowed, Suede Shoes
Blue flowers (2nd card) - Powder Blue (GKD), Chambray (FSJ), Blue Denim (GKD)
Bright Pink - Bubblegum (GKD), Cosmic Grape (FSJ), Flirty Fuchsia
Pink/Red - It's A Girl, Party Dress, Rockin' Red
Yellow - Limoncello, Tiara, Haystack (FSJ)

Green leaves - Garden Party, Lime Rickey, Grass Skirt
Blue green leaves - Mint to Be, Aquatini, Mardi Gras

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
