JULY 2026 SMALL DIE CLUB

This month's Small Die set is called Snow Much Fun and features these cute penguins, skiing accessories for them, snowflakes, a sentiment and 2 snow bank dies!
How cute are these penguins!?! To start my mini slimline card, I die cut white cardstock with the snow slope dies, blended some ink to make the slopes pop and layered them on the card front. I cut the snowflakes and hat trim with glitter cardstock for pops of sparkle. I love how this turned out!

Spellbinders Whimsical Village collection by Vicky Papaioannou

Hi crafty friends! I am so excited for this new release by Vicky Papaioannou for Spellbinders and have 2 cards to share today. The collection is called Whimsical Village and features 3 die sets, 1 3D embossing folder and 1 sentiment stamp set. They are all fabulously wonky and it makes me so happy!
How delightfully whimsical is this collection?! My cards use the Whimsical Houses and Whimsical Blooms die sets and sentiments from the Whimsical Wishes stamp set. My mini slimline card uses the Whimsical Skies embossing folder as the background and the elements from the rest of the collection.

For my color palette, I searched "whimsical color palette" on Pinterest and fell in love with this image.

Hero Arts What a Ride Collection

Hi crafty friends! Today is release day over at Hero Arts and I'm sharing a few cards from the new collection called What A Ride. This collection features a fun wavy cover plate, Yes You Can dies and coordinating layering stencil set and 2 stamp sets with matching dies. I love the groovy vibe of this collection!
YES YOU CAN DIE SET, LAYERING STENCIL AND WAVY LINES COVER PLATE

Here are the same colors flipped to a landscape orientation!
To start I chose my color palette with 2 shades of pink, 2 shades of teal and white. I die cut the Wavy Lines cover plate with all 5 colors. I mixed and matched the placement and ended up making 2 cards with the possibility of 3 more! I die cut the Yes You Can set with white for the letters and the shadow in black. Of course I had to add a flower accent, so I used flowers from the Apple Frame die set
YES YOU CAN DIE SET AND LAYERING STENCIL

This last card uses the Yes You Can Layering stencil and die set. I kept my colors similar to the cardstock and stenciled my layers with the ink colors listed below. I wanted to cut this down to a mini slimline, so I pulled out my trusty Master Layouts 07 die set for my panel. In order to get the die cut letters to fit in the stenciled openings, I used the letter dies without the shadow on them. I cut both black and white with the letter die and layered them slightly askew. I love how fun these turned out!

Throwback Thursday, Holiday Blooms cards

Hi crafty friends! It's Throwback Thursday! I am scaling way back on my crafting for the rest of the year and thought it would be fun so share some of my favorite cards I've made over the years each Thursday. Today's favorite cards are from 2022 and use a few of my favorite die sets!
This pretty mini slimline card uses the fabulous Holiday Blooms and the Master Layouts 7 die sets. The woodgrain background is from the Craft Consortium Wood Textures paper pad and the sentiments are from the Sentiment Sheets - Holiday Greetings, these are perfect for adding quick sentiments!
I used the left overs to make this card. The rectangles were cut with the Master Layouts 2 die set.
I love how these turned out and the designs have held up over the years!!

Spellbinders Bibi Musical Notes Collection

Hi crafty friends! Calling all musical fans!! Today I'm sharing a beautiful slimline card using a die set from the new Bibi Musical Notes collection. This collection features 5 die sets, 1 3D embossing folder and 1 sentiment stamp set. Scroll down for complete supply list.
MINI GUITAR DIE SET AND FAMILY MUSICAL MIX GREETINGS STAMP SET

My mini slimline card uses the Mini Guitar die set and the Musical Mix Greetings stamp set. This set has a guitar that measures just over 3.5" tall and a variety of blooms to accent it with and the sentiments stamp set has sentiments for every family member, so no matter who is the musical talent, there is a sentiment for them!
I did something a little different with this card, I used my Arteza watercolor pens! I die cut all my pieces from the White Mixed Media paper pad (which is perfect for using with watercolor pens), wet the paper slightly and colored with the watercolor pens. I thought my card needed a few sprig branches, so I pulled out my forever favorite, Be Bold Blooms die set and added 4 sprigs.
To create the guitar "strings", I used white floss and pulled it apart into single threads to use for each hole. I glued the ends behind the die cut and added a few gems for a bit of sparkle. I love how this turned out!!

****Please note: The Mini Guitar die set is sold out on the Spellbinders website, but it is still available over at Scrapbook.com! You can purchase the entire collection HERE.

Pretty Pink Posh Candy Cane Shaker card

Hi crafty friends!  I have fun mini slimline shaker card to share today from the Pretty Pink Posh September Holiday release!! AND I'm participating in Day 3 of the Pretty Pink Posh INSTAGRAM HOP!
💖Be sure to head over to my IG and enter to win 💖
Scroll down for a complete list of supplies
My card uses the adorable Candy Cane Shaker die set with accent sprigs and berries from the oldie but goodie, Winter Foliage die set. The pattern paper in the background is from the super pretty Peppermint paper pad
The sentiment is from the Christmas Banner Greetings stamp and die set. To get the sentiment split and peeking from under the bow, I inked, stamped and die cut the "sending" and the "joy & cheer" separately. Then I layered the 2 banners and trimmed off the excess.
To make the shaker element, I die cut the candy cane outline with the shaker portions die cut out 8 times and adhered together. Not all of the pieces were die cut in the exact same place, but once they are layered and filled with shaker beads you can't tell at all. I filled them with Sweetheart Shaker Beads pack. I love how this turned out!!

Simple flower slimline card

Hi crafty friends! Today I am sharing a simple mini slimline flower card featuring the beautiful Simple Floral Bundle die set by Poppystamps.
I wanted to keep my card mostly white on white, so I die cut my flowers and sprigs and then lightly colored them with Zig markers. I first added some water to the die cut along the cut lines in the petals and then went in with a light touch of color. I used Bristol Smooth cardstock as this is watercolor marker friendly!
Before I adhered my flowers and sprigs I added some splatter using the Smokey Olive Zig marker.
I love how this turned out.

Spellbinders Christmas in July: North Pole Friends Collection

Hi crafty friends! We're continuing with Christmas in July with Spellbinders and today I am sharing a mini slimline card using North Pole Friends Collection. This collection is designed by Simon Hurley and features 5 adorable Christmas die sets, a Penguin, Snowman (and Sentiments), Polar Bears, Santa and Elves! So adorable!
These adorable snowmen are from the North Pole Sentiments die set. This is the sentiments set for this collection and features 6 sentiment options, a cute pole to post them to and a cute snowman with lots of accessories!
For my background, I ink blended with Distress Oxide inks and used some White Splatter. I die cut my snow bank from white cardstock to give the snowmen a place to sit.
You'll notice the 2 snowmen on the ends are holding a candy cane and a Christmas card, these are from the Yuletide Ride die set. I just thought they need a few gifts to present 💖 I added Sparkle Splatter Effects to the teal hat and scarves to give it some shimmer!
I love how this turned out! Stay tuned, I have another card with this collection!

Waffle Flower Peachy Sunflowers slimline card

Hi crafty friends! I love sunflowers and may have a minor obsession with them. I just HAD to have the new Sunflower die set by Waffle Flower when it was released a few weeks ago. No joke, I think this is my 4th sunflower die set 💖
To start my card, I looked through the Woodland A2 paper pad and found this pretty gingham paper. I liked the soft peach, pale yellow and white colors and used them as my starting point. I die cut my Sunflowers from a matching peach and leaves from a dusty blue color, both from the Harvest A2 cardstock paper pad. I used the Mini Slimline Lacy Layers die set for the card shape and popped a piece of brown cardstock between the die cuts to tie in the sentiment.
I sponged the flowers and leaves with a matching ink for a little depth and used a Copic marker along the veins. Lastly I used a couple Glitter Brush markers to add some shimmer and added a few Glitter Drop accents. I love how this turned out!

Scrapbook.com Christmas in July: Sizzix and Stacey Park release

Hi everyone! I'm excited to be collaborating with Scrapbook.com and sharing inspiration for the latest release by Stacey Park for Sizzix. This release features 2 die sets, 4 3D Texture Embossing Folders WITH coordinating stencils, 2 stamp sets with coordinating stencils and more! Most of the release is Christmas themed, but most of it can be used for other occasions.

First up is a mini slimline card that uses the stamp set The View and it's colored with the coordinating stencil The View #2. I should note that this stencil could also work on it's own, especially the trees!
First I stamped the cityscape with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then stenciled them with Distress Oxide inks. I gave them some white splatters with the SBC white Lustre Brush Marker for a little snow and/or stars effect. I stamped the santa sleigh in Versafine Onyx Black (it's pigmented enough to cover the oxide ink blending) and added a simple sentiment strip from one of my favorite quick and easy sentiment strip packs!

Next up are 4 cards using the Christmas, Star Bright die set. This die set is pretty cool and once you die cut it with different cardstock, it is easy to inlay mix and matched die cuts to get lots of cards! I started out making one card with greens and silver and another with pinks and gold. But I had SO MANY left overs that I easily made 2 more!

You'll notice the embossing on the large star pieces, I did this with one of the new 3D texture embossing folders called Shine Bright. I placed the cut pieces around the center to make sure all the pieces had the embossed dotted lines going in the same direction. Here is a visual.

Here are all 4 of my cards.

Each uses a Christmas sentiment strip from either Gina K Designs or Paper Rose. I love having sentiment strips they are so easy to cut (or die cut) out and add to any project!

Spellbinders Timeless collection slimline butterfly card

Hi everyone! I have a lovely slimline butterfly card to share today! I have lots of crafting to catch up on, so this post will be short and sweet. The Timeless Collection is part of Spellbinders May 2024 releases. This collection has a variety of elegant dies, borders, sentiments and 6 wonderful butterfly sticker packs!
TWILIGHT BUTTERFLIES AND ALWAYS YOU SENTIMENTS

My card is a mini slimline design measuring 6"x3" and I used 3 butterflies from the Twilight Butterflies sticker pack. The packs have 7 butterflies with 2 layers to them. The adhesive is the entire bottom butterfly layer, so it stays on your card securely. Since there are 7 I was able to splurge using 3 on my card and have with plenty left over!

The sentiment is from the Always You Timeless Sentiments press plates. The set has 8 all occasion sentiments in a gorgeous elegant font. I love this set and can see it being a go-to set for elegant cards and I think it flows well with these beautiful butterflies.
