Scrapbook.com Christmas in July: Sizzix and Stacey Park release

Hi everyone! I'm excited to be collaborating with Scrapbook.com and sharing inspiration for the latest release by Stacey Park for Sizzix. This release features 2 die sets, 4 3D Texture Embossing Folders WITH coordinating stencils, 2 stamp sets with coordinating stencils and more! Most of the release is Christmas themed, but most of it can be used for other occasions.

First up is a mini slimline card that uses the stamp set The View and it's colored with the coordinating stencil The View #2. I should note that this stencil could also work on it's own, especially the trees!
First I stamped the cityscape with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then stenciled them with Distress Oxide inks. I gave them some white splatters with the SBC white Lustre Brush Marker for a little snow and/or stars effect. I stamped the santa sleigh in Versafine Onyx Black (it's pigmented enough to cover the oxide ink blending) and added a simple sentiment strip from one of my favorite quick and easy sentiment strip packs!

Next up are 4 cards using the Christmas, Star Bright die set. This die set is pretty cool and once you die cut it with different cardstock, it is easy to inlay mix and matched die cuts to get lots of cards! I started out making one card with greens and silver and another with pinks and gold. But I had SO MANY left overs that I easily made 2 more!

You'll notice the embossing on the large star pieces, I did this with one of the new 3D texture embossing folders called Shine Bright. I placed the cut pieces around the center to make sure all the pieces had the embossed dotted lines going in the same direction. Here is a visual.

Here are all 4 of my cards.

Each uses a Christmas sentiment strip from either Gina K Designs or Paper Rose. I love having sentiment strips they are so easy to cut (or die cut) out and add to any project!
