Simple Stories Lavender Fields collection, Simple Thank You card

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a card using a die set from the new Simple Stories Lavender Fields collection from Spellbinders. I really love hexagons, so I knew I had to have this die set!

The die set is called Lavender Fields Hexagons and features 3 sizes of Hexagons and 3 coordinating stitching die, 1 bumble bee and 2 lavender blooms.

I kept things pretty simple with using the A2 Cottontail paper pad and die cutting the hexagons from a pale pink and floral pattern. I then die cut the lavender and bumble bee. The sentiment is from the A Little Message Sentiments press and foil set. I added a few purple sequins from my stash and a tiny white bow as the final touches.

Simple Stories Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe collection - 2 card designs

 Hi crafty friends! There is a fabulous spring themed collection by Spellbinders and Simple Stories called Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe. It's so pretty! It features a die set, 6x8 paper pad, ephemera, chipboard and foam bits and pieces, brads and even a stamp set!

Each card uses some of the 6x8 pattern paper and stickers from the 12x12 cardstock stickers, and one card uses a few ephemera hearts.

I love the colors in this collection! All the purple, pink and turquoise with the brown and cream neutrals are so pretty together! I think my favorite thing from the collection is the gorgeous bicycle cardstock sticker, so I had to use it! I love how both of these cards turned out.

Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection - Oh, Bother card

 Hi crafty friends! OK, any Winnie-the-Pooh lovers out there? Well, the copyright of the original Winnie-the-Pooh stories expired on January 1, 2022. Because of that you'll notice a lot of companies launching collections featuring our favorite bear all stuffed with fluff and his friends!

This month, Spellbinders collaborated with Simple Stories and released the Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection. This collection is huge! There are die sets, BetterPress plates, stamp set, ephemera, foam and chipboard stickers, 12x12 and 6x8 paper pads and MORE!

I mean, isn't this the cutest?!? Pooh and Piglet together!! My card uses paper from the Collection Kit and Foam Stickers with a little ink blending to make the stickers POP.

A heads up, these foam stickers have really good adhesive on them! I had them down, changed my mind and when I tried to pull them off, I took a layer of cardstock with them. No worries, a little liquid glue and I was able to use them, but these are the good ones. They won't fall off after you give the card away.

This was pretty easy to put together with just some pattern paper and foam stickers. So cute! I love how this turned out. Stay tuned for more Pooh inspiration.

Miss you sketch card

Hi everyone! Today's card uses the fun layout from this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I love this one! I've made lots of cards in the past using a variation of this. 

My card uses some stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions that I pulled out of storage. I am loving rediscovering all my beloved stamps and dies! The flowers are from the set Sketched Blooms, the vase is from the Various Vases die set, the little tag is from the Designer Mini Tags dies and the sentiment is from Many Minis -Occasions. Whew, that's a lot packed into this simple card!! lol!

 The gorgeous paper is from Simple Stories Always & Forever 6x8 paper pack I loved the simple color scheme of the papers and added a pop of red with the flowers. I ran a strip of 1/8" black velvet ribbon along one of the panels and I tied the little tag around the vase with a small piece of 1/8" black silk. I love how pliable it is, super easy to thread through the tag and tie into a tiny little bow!

Hi everyone!  I took some time today to make a card that was just for fun.  Love it when that happens.  I have had some brand new Technique Tuesday stamps forEVAH that haven't seen any ink (gasp).  I decided to ink up the stamp set Chit Chat for this card.  I looooove the heart talk bubble!!

The paper is from the Simple Stories Harvest lane paper pad.  I am new to Simple Stories and really love the colors and patterns in this pad.  I also like that the pages are not double sided, cause it always happens that my 2 favorite patterns are opposite each other!
