Blue roses for your birthday

Hi everyone! I've had the Everything's Rosy stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps for some time and haven't had a chance to use it very much. So when I borrowed the Glacier Caves set of Altenew ink cubes from a friend in I KNEW I HAD to use them with these 4 step roses.
I absolutely LOVE these blue roses!!
Lots of fun goodies on this one. The background was made with the stencil from Simple Stories called Diamond Sparkle. I stenciled with green ink at the bottom and blue at the top. Most of the green is covered up with the sentiment, but just enough is peeking through at the bottom for some balance.
The sentiment is from the Birthday Sentiments stamp set from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Coral roses and join me on FB live

Hi everyone! I have a fun card to share today. I pulled out the stamp and die set Thinking of You Rose by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps and the store's new Coral Ribbon Sampler! I love each and every one of the ribbons in this sampler, keep reading for more info about them.
Here's my card.
I colored the roses with my copic markers and added some stickles to the rosebuds for the perfect amount of bling. The patterned paper in the background is from the Kaisercraft Ooh La La pack and I trimmed it on a diagonal and added a piece of the ribbon for some texture. I used the Bow Easy to make the perfect little bow and because it's a wired ribbon, it keeps its lovely shape. I added some Glossy Accents over the sentiment for dimension.

I did a Facebook live video today over on the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store page. I showed all the gorgeous ribbons in the new Coral Ribbon Sampler as well as several projects using them. Including this card!

Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!

Mojo roses

Hi everyone! It's no secret my favorite flower is a rose. I mean, I DID name my blog after them! lol! So I was very happy to see that my friend Mendi, who owns Sunny Studio Stamps released a delightful stamp set featuring roses called Everything's Rosy. These are multi step images, and by multi, I mean 5 for each rose! Yes, and the detail on the images is just stunning. Here's a fun picture of my desk while I was playing around with color combinations! I had some crazy inky fingers when I was done.
As soon as I saw Julee's Mojo Monday sketch #507 earlier this morning I knew I wanted to use it with the roses I made yesterday. Match made in heaven. Here's my card.
The fabulous patterned paper is from Kaisercraft their Ooh La La paper pad. I love how there are some nice neutral prints (woodgrain and heathered solids) as well as some with pale blue and coral!! I added some silver metallic string across the thin strip panel and used a few silver pearls as the final accent.
Here's Julee's sketch if you want to play along. Notice she gives the measurements on each panel? Made this super easy to put together! Thanks Julee!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
