November guest for Jillibean Soup's Card Kitchen Kit Club

Hi everyone!  I am excited to be this month's guest designer for Jillibean Soup's Card Kitchen Kit of the Month!  This card kit may be new to you, but each month Jillibean Soup puts together a card kit with cardstock and envelopes for 8 cards, coordinating pattern papers, die cuts, stickers embellishments, ribbons and full instructions to make 8 cards.
One of the things I like about these kits is they usually don't include stamps which is nice, because I have a ton of stamps already!

If you subscribe to the kit, the cost is $22.99 plus $5.25 shipping and if you want to buy without a subscription the cost is $24.99 plus the shipping.

Here are the details for the November's Kit:
Here are some samples I made using the kit.  I had a lot of fun making these, ANDI have a ton of stuff left over and will be using it to make some more quick and easy Christmas cards!  I am sharing 4 cards today and will be back to share another 4 in a few days.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

A HAPPY Friends with Flair card

Hi everyone!  I have a card today for the Unity's Friends With Flair.  You can check out their blog for a link to all the Unity card goodness posted today. I made this card awhile ago and never got around to posting it.  This card just makes me HAPPY (yeah, I crack myself up)!  I LOVE the fun pattern paper (by Jillibean Soup) and the little hand made flowers.  The sentiment is from Unity's kit, To the Moon and Back.
I made the flowers by die cutting scallop circles from pattern paper, hand cutting them into spirals, and rolling them up. The tag shape is from the Grommet Tags set and I added lots of silver pearls accents from Recollections -which I can't seem to find anymore, I fear they are no longer made!  If anyone has a source please let me know!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!  I'll leave you with a close up picture.

Friends with Flair -Missing you

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Friends with Flair!  It's been awhile since I had a chance to play along with FWF.  Unity changed how they do FWF now, and all we have to do is post a card with Unity on Friday and link it up to the Unity Blog.  EPLS!

My card today uses the totally cute Itty Bitty set, Love Runs Deep (all Itty Bitty stamps are on sale for only $4 right now).  To add a bit of detail to the Spellbinders Heart Circles die cut, I outlined the heart part with a rose marker, the triangle with yellow and the border with a green marker.  Then I took the NEGATIVE heart parts of the die cut, colored them with a rose marker and used them as accents.  Using those little "extra" bits is a great way to coordinate accents!
That's it for today.  I am knee deep in Ninja and Darth Vader costumes.  Tonight is the Fall Carnival at my boys' Elementary school and they are allowed to wear costumes!  Both my boys are small for their age, so all the costumes need to be altered.  I don't like doing things at the last minute, but I have had a horrendous head cold for the last 3 weeks and this is the first day I have felt normal, so off I go to sew!

Thanks for stopping by, here is a close up picture.

Come home and some WINNERS

Hi everyone!  I a fun card to share and a winner from my blog candy post!  First up is another card I made using the newly released Home Is stamp set from Gina K.  That little house makes me happy.  The fun pattern paper is from JilliBean Soup (this company is one of my new favorites!), Dutch Mustard 6x6 pad.  I made this to coordinate with a froggie card I made a last month.  The scallops were made using the Classic Scallop Edgeabilities die templates and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

And now to the winners!  A big thanks to everyone who left a comment, I always read every comment and they are all appreciated.  Random.org helped me chose these numbers:
