Gina K September release inspiration blog hop: Day 3

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the last day of the Gina K Designs September Release Inspiration Blog hop!  Today we are spotlighting the sets, My True Love Gave to Me illustrated by and Cool Beans, which is the Free with 3 set. 

First up is a card using the latte/mocha/coffee cup image from Cool Beans.  I love all things coffee related.  This set has a couple REALLY cute images with sentiments to match.  I went bright and fun colors with this card.  I used some old Cosmo Cricket papers, my favorite Spellbinders Circles Nestabilities die templates, and of course added my touches of bling.
Next, is my card using My True Love Gave to Me.  This one didn't turn out quite as I imagined.  The sentiment panel ended up being a touch to long (I wanted the ends to perfectly line up with the green pattern paper piece), but that's how stamping goes sometimes.  I underestimated the length of the sentiment all stamped out side by side.  The images in this set are just darling and I LOVE how I can make Christmas cards using Christmas images that are not commonly found.  This image was super easy, I barely did any coloring and added a touch of Crystal Effects on the heart.

    Both of your cards are really pretty Michelle, but I REALLY like your coffee card in particular - I would never think to use that color combo with a coffee card and it looks GREAT! That red cup really catches my eye!

    I love your color combo with your Coffee cup card........that blue and brown together with the touch of red is so eye appealing. The polka dots and designed card stock work so well together. Your True Love card is really sweet and would be fun to receive. Great job on both cards!

    I think that you were to hard on yourself I think the card came out beautiful. I love both of these cards, I really think they came great! I have to say I'm LOVING these new stamps! The kissing birds too adorable, totally a must have for the Holiday's!
