Hi everyone! Welcome to Friends with Flair! It's been awhile since I had a chance to play along with FWF. Unity changed how they do FWF now, and all we have to do is post a card with Unity on Friday and link it up to the Unity Blog. EPLS!
My card today uses the totally cute Itty Bitty set, Love Runs Deep (all Itty Bitty stamps are on sale for only $4 right now). To add a bit of detail to the Spellbinders Heart Circles die cut, I outlined the heart part with a rose marker, the triangle with yellow and the border with a green marker. Then I took the NEGATIVE heart parts of the die cut, colored them with a rose marker and used them as accents. Using those little "extra" bits is a great way to coordinate accents!
That's it for today. I am knee deep in Ninja and Darth Vader costumes. Tonight is the Fall Carnival at my boys' Elementary school and they are allowed to wear costumes! Both my boys are small for their age, so all the costumes need to be altered. I don't like doing things at the last minute, but I have had a horrendous head cold for the last 3 weeks and this is the first day I have felt normal, so off I go to sew!
Thanks for stopping by, here is a close up picture.
