March Verve Diva Inspiration blog hop

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the March Diva Inspiration Team Blog Hop! The Diva Inspiration team is here to start your month off right with a little Verve inspiration!  I decided to bust out my 2 favie (non-flower) Verve sets, Delightful and Delicious and A Cup of Life.  I love these sets -they are just so perfect with their coffee and tea images!

My first card uses Delightful and Delicious.  I saw this cutie card by Latisha and had to CASE it using the coffee cups, some Decorative Tape by American Crafts and a green resin blossom from Maya Road.  Isn't this fun?  I just love how the cups dangle and the sentiment is too perfect. This was a very quick little card to make.
Next up, how about a little TEA?  This card is so opposite from the first!  Lots of layers, trims and embellies going on here.  This actually started out using the Viva La Verve March sketch #1, but I couldn't get the top right embellishment to work.  I used the gorgeous teapot image and sentiment from A Cup of Life.  No coloring here, I paper pieced the teapot with yellow and green pattern papers.  The papers are from Echo Park, the For the Record collection.  I even managed to use some of my new stick pins!  Yeah, guess who's order of goodies arrived over the weekend?  lol!
We've hidden a little mystery prize on one of today's hop spots, so be sure to leave a little comment love as you hop around. One lucky commenter on the mystery hop spot will win a $30 gift certificate to the Verve Store! The deadline for comment entries is Saturday, March 5.

Just make a new card using at least one Verve stamp, post it online somewhere, and and link it up to the Verve Blog to be entered in a random drawing for a $50 gift certificate! But wait... we'll also be picking a random commenter from one of the Verve Fan hop entries.  You'll have all weekend to comment on all the entries for a chance to win a $30 gift certificate to Verve.

So to recap, there are three prizes up for grabs...
