Friends with Flair, You are loved

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Unity's Friends with Flair blog hop!  There is a master list of all the  designers participating in the FWF this week over at the Unity Blog.  Be sure to check it out and see what Unity goodness there is for today!

My card uses the fabulous stamp set and October 2010 Kit of the Month, Take Time to Laugh.  This seems to be my "go-to" Unity stamp set of late!  I was in a stamping rut, so I totally cased this card I made a couple years ago. 
I used some of my favie My Mind's Eye, Stella Rose "Mabel" papers.  I. LOVE. THIS. LINE.  MME released all 4 Stella Rose lines in the 6x6 pad!  Happy, delicious sigh...  I also used a couple more of my new stick pens.  Did you see my SCS upload here?  Yeah, I stuck my finger pretty good with that pin and then ruined my card by bleeding over it!  YUCK!  I uploaded it anyway as a cautionary tale -lol!

    Ouch!! Beware of stick pins LOL! Love all the white space (and of course the swiss dots!) and how you layered the DP strips. Great card.

    This is gorgeous Michelle!! I love the strips of colour using ribbon and patterned paper. I purchased all four MME pads this week and they are soooooo lovely I don't want to ruin them!! Eeeek...have to get beyond my hoarding obsession and get creative. Love the balance with the white space and texture too. Have a great weekend. xx

    just love this, Michelle and the PINS make it perfect...just saw the SCS thread on to pin or not to pin...I say pin and keep a box of bandaids close by!!

    I love this card, and I don't think this sentiment could ever be over used! If everyone used it every day and the world would be a better place.

    It is a beautiful card! I love those leaves...they are amazing! I really like the colorful paper you chose...or did it choose you?! lol This is wonderful!
