Oh happy spring day

Hi everyone!  Spring is not quite here yet, but I sure am looking forward to it!  I have a happy spring card to share.  The FSJ Bloom This Way spring mini catalog has some FUN new border dies, 2 sets totaling 9 dies to be exact.  My card uses the 2 dies from the Border Details die set, the chevron die and the sprig vine die.

I die cut the border die from whip cream cardstock for the frames and adhered 2 side by side.  Then I die cut it again from all the pastel rainbow cardstock colors and used only the little negative pieces!!  I'll admit it took me an hour or so to decide which colors to use and in which order!  LOL!  But that's how I roll.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
P.S. so when posting this close up picture I noticed that my button is NAKED!  I much prefer to have some twine through the button holes, so kinda freaking out right now!  LOL!  So does it bother you to have naked buttons?!?

  2. Hi Michelle, He, He! naked buttons, I've never heard that before...it's great. I love your card even with the naked buttons. The flower is so very pretty with its touch of sparkle popped up on the beautiful border details background. x

  3. Love your card, Michelle, what fun dies! No, it doesn't bother me if a button is naked....my fingers and eyes are getting too old to bother with that fiddlyness!

  4. Lovely card! Lots of work, but I, for one think it was worth it as the colors are so pretty! Oh, and at least the button is striped, so it isn't really naked.
