Hi everyone! May Arts Silk Ribbon has been a long time favorite of mine and one of the biggest sellers at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. We know many of you love
using silk ribbon as well, and to make color
selection easier and to take the guess-work out of it, I have prepared a
color chart. This chart compares all the May Arts Silk Ribbon colors to both
Stampin’ Up and A|Muse Studios cardstock colors.
Here are the charts:
I
hope you find these charts useful. I had a
lot fun making them and they will be the first of many ribbon type
color charts. Let me know if you have a particular ribbon type you would like to see on a color comparison chart and I'll add it to the to-do list.
So in celebration of our Silk Ribbon Color Charts, the design team have some projects to show you today and each have some fabulous SILK RIBBON BLOG CANDY! Sharon now offers the Silk Ribbon in Sampler Packs, and each designer has one Silk Ribbon Sampler
to give away. All you have to do is comment on their blog to be eligible to win. Each
designer will pick their winner Wednesday, August 22nd at 9 p.m EST. All the winners will be announced on
Sharon's Blog and my winner will also be announced here, later this week, so be sure to check back to see
if you have won. Good luck!!!
I will be offering the Pastels Sampler for my blog candy. This Sampler pack contains 3 yards each of the Pink, Light Blue, Lavender, Celery and Yellow ribbons. Gorgeous stuff!
Check out all the girls in today's hop:
I am still (trying to) take a break from stamping this month, so I didn't make a new card today. But here are a couple of 3x3 note cards I made a couple years ago using the 1.5" Ivory silk ribbon and the oldie but goodie
Lilac Avenue pad from Kaisercraft (which is on sale now!).
A little tip, don't be afraid to use the wide silk ribbon on a small card, it folds and layers beautifully and can really make a statement!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the hop!!
