Some flower die cut cards

Hi everyone!  I have a couple quick and easy cards to share today.  With my first card, I die cut and embossed a flower shape from the front of the card and adhered pattern paper on the inside using foam squares (to give it some depth).  Then I decorated the flower opening with another flower and topped it with a Prima resin flower.
Next I made a little 3x3 card using the die cut from the first card and all the same supplies -easy peasy.  The second layer flower die on both cards is from the soon to be released Jewel Flowers and Flourishes Spellbinders set.  You can see the sneak peek reveal of that set here.  Before removing the flower from the die, I inked the flower with versamark ink and embossed it with glitter EP.  I love that effect!
This will be my last post for a couple weeks.  We leave this weekend for a family vacation to Disneyland (I haven't been since I was 20)!  We are going with my sister and meeting up with Bill's brother and his family.  It's gonna be one big ole happy time with lots of family.  Oh and we are taking a day trip over to Legoland, which my boys are looking forward to more than Disney -lol!  So I will see you all in August!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.  I'll leave you with a couple close up pictures.

Coordinating box and card

Hi everyone!  I have a card and matching box to share with you today.  I made this awhile ago and realized I forgot to post it.
The box was made from the Spellbinders Square Bracket Edge Box die.  These boxes are super simple to make, just die cut and emboss the box shape (shown below in green) from some cardstock (any weight will work).  After you emboss it, the box sides will fold easily and you can adhere them together using some 1/4" Scor-Tape.
Here is a close up of the box.  To decorate it, I added a strip of Scor-tape along the top of the inside and ruffled some seam binding ribbon around the edge.  I then trimmed a strip of cardstock and pattern paper and adhered it around the middle.  Some 1/4" silk ribbon, flower and rhinestones decorate it.

Here is a close up of the card.  I used a sentiment from Waltzingmouse awesome set, Fancy Phrases and decorated it to coordinate.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Card Deets:
Stamps - Fancy Phrases
Cardstock - Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown and White
Pattern Paper - GCD Studios
Accessories - Spellbinders Circle and Scalloped Circles Nestabilities and Square Bracket Edge box, silk ribbon, mulberry flowers, branch punch, stickles

Fabulous card! I love the stitching and the paper banners.
Congrats Lynn!  Head on to Sharon's Blog to get the info on how to claim your gift certificate to the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!!

Before I go, I have a card to share.  I made another card using the SAME layout and Large Fancy Sentiments stamp set as my last card.  I have to say this is quick and easy and perfect for using those strips of paper that are always left over and we ALL KEEP!  This time I used papers from my absolute favorite MME paper pack, Be Happy (which is on sale right now for $5) and flowers from the Charme Rose pack.  The ribbon is the gorgeous 1/8" velvet ribbon!

Thank you all for stopping by and have a great day!  I'll leave you with a close up picture.

Stamps - Large Fancy Sentiments (JustRite Papercrafts)
Ink - peach and black
