Gina K June release inspiration blog hop: Day 1

Hi everyone!  Today the Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another Inspiration Blog Hop were we hope to inspire you with many beautiful ideas for the sets released in June! As you hop through the blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each because we will choose a few random commenters and they will win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

Today we are spotlighting 2 sets:  Pretty Patterns illustrated by Melanie and Grand Tags illustrated by Tami.  First up, is my card using Pretty Patterns.  I really love the patterns in this set!  I used the line/circles vertically instead of horizontally.  Then I randomly stamped the patterns into the open circles with a turquoise, peach and yellow ink -that flower is actually uses the Just Peachy cardstock, but it looks a bit orange in this picture.  This is a simple design and can be made with any color combo.
My next card uses Grand Tags.  I LOVE how this set coordinates with Spellbinders Labels Twenty-two because it is one of my favorite label shapes!  I stamped it in brown ink and added a touch of green to the leaves.  The pattern paper on this card is from Gina's Sunshiny Day pack.  I thought these colors were so happy and bright it called for a butterfly!  This one is from Spellbinders Wonderful Wings set.
Don't forget, all the new stamp sets are now offered in CLEAR which is what I linked.  But if you prefer rubber, click on the What's New Section and you will see both options.
Check out all the amazing designs and inspiration:
Thanks for stopping by and here are a couple close up pictures.
