Ribbon Inspiration Stamp Simply Style -Rosettes

Hi everyone!  Happy Labor Day and welcome to a brand new feature at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store called Ribbon Inspiration Stamp Simply Style.  We ALL love  ribbon and how versatile it is, so we thought it would be fun to share some ribbon inspiration with you each Saturday.  Each week we'll feature one type of ribbon and show you designs from the Stamp Simply Designers as well as a few guests from time to time.

This week we are showcasing Rosettes.  There are many types of premade flowers sold by the yard that offer a variety of opportunities for scrapping, card-making, sewing and crafting in general.  So be prepared for some wonderful Rosette inspiration today!

My card uses the White Sheer Woven Rosette ribbon.  I made a trio of CAS cards using papers from the Kaisercraft paper pad, Homemade and the sentiments from JustRite, Heart to Heart.  Each card uses some rosettes accented with a strip of the 1/8" velvet layered with some striped paper.  I even used the new Spellbinders Edgeabilities die templates on my 3rd card!  These will be in the store soon!
Adhering sheer ribbons can be tricky as they are see through, right?  Well, I use my Scor-Tape and it works wonderfully!  It does NOT show through at all!  Here is a pic of how I adhered them.

Each week we will have fabulous Blog Candy (pictured below) featuring the ribbons that we focus on.  The winner will be drawn from comments on one of today’s participating blogs, so leaving a comment on each blog to increases your chance to win.  Only one comment per blog, please.  The winner will be selected at 6 p.m. EST on Thursday, September 8th and posted on Sharon's blog on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Here is the list of designers playing along today!

  57. Hi Michelle!

It looks like I finally need to buy some Scor-Tape! Those flowers are lovely...and I love them in white...you can quickly add them to any color card! I really like the different sentiments on these cards, they are quite unique. "Loving Thoughts" and "Enjoy Your Day" really caught my attention, I haven't seen them before. I love the bg paper on that first card, especially! Way to go, Michelle!!!
