Wednesday's sketch and sharing supplies again

I made it over to Heidi's house again today. I did this a couple weeks ago on sketch challenge day and we shared supplies and it was neat to see the different cards we made. Today's sketch is found here. I like the sketch. I don't normally make horizonal cards, so this was nice.

I used my new Inkadinkado Christmas Silhouettes set. I will be using this ALOT this season. I have tons of Christmas cards to make, so I take just about all challenges this time of year to make them. We stamped the image in Versamark and embossed in SU! dark brown EP. I took a couple copic markers and colored some of the flowers on him. The ribbon came from Heidi's store (Pinkhedgehog Paper Crafts) and is the 3/8" chocolate double sided satin. I used one of the sentiments from Warm Words -boy is this one ever a 'go to' set for me this time of year! The DP is retired and I am sorry, I don't know the name of it.

Here is the link to Heidi's card. Isn't if fun to see what she did the same and different? I notice that she put brads where I put the bling!!

Card Deets:
Stamps - Christmas Silhouettes, Warm Words
Paper - choc chip, sage shadow, white, retired SU! DP
Ink - choc chip, Versamark
Accessories - Green bling from Kaiser Scrapbook, satin ribbon, dimensionals, swiss dots CB folder

  1. This is a very beautiful card! The layout keeps the eye moving all around to catch the details. I do many cards in the landscape mode and it feels more spacious -- but maybe that is just me. Really nice piece!
