Gina K November release inspiration blog hop: Day 1

Hi everyone!!  Welcome to Day 1 of the Gina K Designs DT Inspiration Blog Hop were we hope to inspire you with many beautiful ideas for the sets released in November! Today we are spotlighting 2 sets:

Lots of Letters, illustrated by Melanie

Warm Woolen Mittens, illustrated by Becky

First up is my card using Lots of Letters.  What a darling set!  The possibilities are endless and I thought these letters would make a perfect banner card.  I stamped the pinking circles with grey and the letters inside with ruby red, then die cut them with Spellbinders Standard Circles LG #1 die, which are a perfect fit!

Next is my card using Warm Woolen Mittens.  These mittens are the cutest!  I paper pieced the cuffs and added tiny snowflake sequins for decoration.  I stamped the border image around the frame opening for decoration.  To get the length just right, I practiced on scratch paper.
