Hi everyone! Welcome to this week's Ribbon Inspiration Stamp Simply Style. This week we are showcasing LACE RIBBON. Oh... lace is so pretty and delicate. I don't use it often enough! So be
prepared for some wonderful LACE inspiration today!
My card uses the brown 5/8" lace ribbon threaded with some white 1/8" silk ribbon. The fabulous papers are from the Prima Alla Prima pad -seriously L.O.V.E. this paper!! I also used some Prima flowers from the Alla Prima collection. Matchy-matchy makes me happy! My frame is made from a Spellbinders Square Nestabilities and the flourish and sentiment are from the JustRite set, Family Garden.
See the border I used on the turquoise paper? It actually is the negative side of the original border I made (using the Classic Scallop Edgeabilities, shown in the picture under my card). I thought the scale of the scallops were a bit big next to my square frame, but I love how it worked out to use the negative part of the die cut instead.
Each week we will have fabulous Blog Candy (this week's is pictured
below) made up of the ribbons that we feature. The winner will be drawn
from comments on one of today’s participating blogs, so leaving a
comment on each blog to increases your chance to win. Only one
comment per blog, please. The winner will be selected at 6 p.m. EST on Tuesday, September 27th and posted on Sharon's blog on Wednesday.
Here is the list of today's participants:

ReplyDeleteHow ingenious to use the negative side of the cut. It looks great. I like the flourishes stamped at the side of the frame there with the few dots of bling. Also like the white ribbon laced through the lace, Fabulous card!
