Hi everyone! I have a double challenge card to share today. I combined the sketch from this week's Fall to Layout with CAS-ual Fridays "Mostly Monochromatic" challenge (to use 3 shades of the same color + brown). I should note that my flowers were a bit too big to put my sentiment at the bottom, so I adjusted the sketch a bit.
I made these accordion flowers by die cutting with the Spellbinders Picot Edge Circles.
I scored at each point, made a slit 1/2 way to the center and folded
along the lines like an accordion. It takes 2 circles to make 1 flower.
The pattern paper is the fabulous Alla Prima by Prima. LOVE this paper pad (I used it on my Lace inspiration card from yesterday)!! The flower centers are 2-toned open roses glued to little brown circles.
Here is a picture showing the process for the accordion flowers.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back tomorrow for another double challenge card -I am on a roll!!!
