My card is a sample card for the challenge hosted by current Dirty Girl extraordinaire, Edna and you can find the challenge details on this thread. My card uses the new super fun striped ribbon from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. It's pretty wide (2"), but it's a light thin ribbon and that makes it easy to work with. I tied the ribbon with some silver cord and added a Prima flower. The sentiment is from Verve's Starstruck set. I thought the sentiment was perfect for me right now.
Kitchen remodel Day 19: Let's see... yesterday I primed and painted the ceiling, man that was hard on my neck, but otherwise it went pretty well. Today I will do all the touch ups.
-I have my shoe and crown molding ordered and it was put on a RUSH basis. We'll see when that comes in. I won't show my "after" pictures until it does, so fingers crossed it won't be 5 weeks!!
-UGH, there is a huge delay on my countertops and looks like I won't get them installed (ALONG WITH THE SINK) until next Wednesday. Sigh... this is getting old!
-Bill installed my ceiling light fixtures and they look fabulous! I bought them off of EBay, so I was a bit nervous how they would turn out, but I love them.

ReplyDeleteYeah, you got to stamp!!! Love how you lightly gathered the wide ribbon and added touches of bling to the sentiment. Think you need to have a big stamping celebration once your renos are all done - maybe a little shopping spree for stamping goodies after all the hard work you've been doing!! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that your "rush" order comes at "rush" speed! I'm sure it will look simply fabulous when it is all done - hang in there!!
