H{ippity} Hop Monday

Hi everyone! Today is Monday and that means another H{ippity} Hop!! Be sure to go to the {ippity} blog to see the master list of all the players.

As always, we have a new H{ippity} Hop challenge and this week it's brought to you by Eva!!!! She has challenged us all to use dry embossing! OK, confession time, I MISREMEMBERED the challenge and thought it was HEAT embossing! After realizing my mistake, I quickly embossed my pattern paper with Swiss Dots, so now I qualify -LOL!

My card uses the musical background stamp from Ippity's Music of My Heart on the circle panel embossed it with clear EP. The sentiment is from and the amazing paper is more of the KaiserCraft Devonshire pad. Oh and see that big ole butterfly? I finally got around to ordering the amazing Bigz Beautiful Butterflies from SU! I just love the butterfly shapes on this die. BUT, I am having trouble with the 1/2 wings -any pros out there with some advise? But I digress... for the sentiment I needed something small that would be in scale with the space in my card, and I found one from Love In Return.

Everyone is invited to bust out their Ippity Stamps and play along. There is a prize up for grabs for one lucky player. Please use keyword: IHHC14 when uploading to SCS.

Well, thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out all the Ippity goodness along the Hop!

  9. Beautiful card Michelle! I love how the distressed ink around the circles and butterfly bring out the hint of blue. I've had to try that half butterfly a few times...I think the key is it takes practice when you place the fold right on the edge to get that butterfly...but I love it! Have a FAB day!
