Daniel: "mom, can you help me with the alligator?"
Me: "uhhh... what happened?" (almost too afraid to ask)
Daniel: "HE ATE FOUR FROGS and I CAN'T GET THEM OUT!!!"
Me: "FOUR?!?! Uh, OK, let me try to get them out..."
Here are some pictues to illustrate!
OK, WHO invented HOLLOW toy animals?????
Have a great day! I will be back later to post my sketch card!!
I have to chuckle...what a fabulously cute story!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute story! Hope you saved those poor frogs!
ReplyDeleteChildren are so precious. I always tell my DH what did we ever laugh about, before the grandchildren came along. LOL
ReplyDeletePattyjo
Thank you for my morning laugh :) Aren't little boys fun!! This is something my little guy would do so I'm laughing from an "I understand" point of view! Word or warning, if you boys get the chicken pox, hopefully they won't play "connect the dots"...don't ask me how I know! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that story. How old is your little one. Coleen (my granddaughter turns 4 on Monday) and she has just such an Alligator and she is always sticking stuff down it's throat.
ReplyDeleteGotta love little boys! Sound like something mine would do!
ReplyDeleteHow precious! Stop! Before you forget and go write it down. What a wonderful memory. They grow up so fast Michelle. I can tell you its like taking a breath. It's gone that fast. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHope the surgery was a success and your patient is recovery comfortably! This sounds so like something that would happen at my house!
ReplyDeleteMichelle, thanks for the chuckle! Obviously this wasn't your first time rescuing small amphibians from the likes of alligators...a skill that I haven't acquired. Kudos to you and may that be the biggest crisis you have to face this year!
ReplyDeleteIt was probably a Man who invented Hollow animals! I hope there was a happy ending. I just love the way children see the world, so new and they always seem to bring a new perspective to everything. My children are all grown up and yet even they have their moments!
ReplyDeleteMichelle, I almost fell out of my chair from laughing so hard! That is too cute and too funny! Those frogs look terrified and like they are screaming for help.
ReplyDeleteBwahaahha!! OMGosh that is toooo funny.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I couldn't help but laugh when I saw this. I've had to preform "surgery" before on my nephews dinosaurs to remove other animals from their insides. It still has the "scars" LOL
ReplyDeleteIt made me smile. As a retired preschool teacher, I can't tell you how many times I had to fish many things from inside alligatore, dinosaurs, cows, robots, even pigs. I felt like a surgeon sometimes.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this special time in your life!
