A trio of Christmas elegance

If you are like me, I want my Christmas cards EASY to make! Last year I made around 150 cards and it just about wiped me out!! These cards are from images from Gina K's newly released Magic of Christmas and A Year of Flowers. Such lovely and elegant images in both!!

Each card uses the cuttlebug Snowflake folder, has glitter/stickles and some light framing. The images were colored with copic markers. The reindeer has some gold in his collar, if anyone has tips on what to use that comes out gold but slightly transparent, I would love to hear them. I used my gold Uniball pen, but it came out very opaque and you can't see the lovely detailing in the collar. All the ribbon, cord, stickles and brads are from Pinkhedgehog Papercrafts.

I will be back later to post my Featured Stamper card.

Oh, before I forget, Heidi at Pinkhedgehog Papercrafts is going to start selling Copic Markers! She is having a super pre-sale going on right now thru Oct 25th. If you are interested, click on the link above and contact her for pricing.

  11. Very pretty! For slightly transparent gold, you could try Twinkling H2O's maybe?

  13. I love your cards! For the gold try the Spica glitter pens from Copic; they are wonderful and you can still see details.

  14. Shimmerz is a good choice for adding glitz but not totally obscuring what's underneath:

These pearlescent watercolors are also really good for that as well:
