A couple of double challenge cards

This week's sketch challenge on SCS gave us 2 sketches (a horizonal and a vertical version). What fun! A twofer :-) Of course, I had to do both.

This first card is the vertical version and also uses this week's color challenge of pink, olive and choc chip. For the image, I used Flourishes Spring Ephemerials set and the Many Sentiments for the Get Well sentiment. The DP is Basic Grey Sugared. The ribbon and brads are from Pink Hedgehog Paper Crafts. I needed a Get Well card for a mom in my MOPS group.
This second card is also a double challenge card. It uses the horizonal version of the sketch and this week's Crafty Secrets challenge to use orange and black. I used Crafty Secrets set Bird Lovers and the sentiment is from their set Rosy Wishes. I colored the birdies with copic markers and them painted them with Shimmerz, Angel Wings. I chose for my oranges, tangerine tango and groovy guava. The new DSP SU has is awesome! I like the prints much better than last years.
Card Deets:
Stamps - Spring Ephemerals, Many Sentiments
Paper - choc chip, white, BG Sugared
Accessories - brown brads, wide organdy

Stamps - bird lovers, rosy wishes
Paper - white, black, tangering tango, guava, DSP in tangerine
Accessories - copic markers, paper piercer, shimmerz, swiss dots, guava taffeta ribbon, word window punch

  4. I really like the way you have layered your cards for the challenge. The first one is just beautiful and the second one too, but I especially like how you painted the birds and layered the one.
