What is color blocking you ask? Well, I didn't know either!! Charlene gave us the challenge to find out and DO it -heehee. I searched SCS keyword Color Blocking and thought "OH yeah! I have seen that before, duh!". It's making "blocks" with paper as the background panel of your card. I have even DONE it before and didn't know it with this card.
I wasn't sure if using DP followed the rules or not, so I made my DP blocks the smallest just in case. The DP was from my Christmas scraps (yes, I keep a large folder of all my holiday DP scraps sorted by holiday) and I decided to use my Elzybells, Winter Girl stamp. She is colored with prismacolor pencils again -I don't have the Copic colors to coordinate with the card. I used liquid applique on all the fluffy trim pieces.
Card Deets:
Stamps - Winter Girl
Paper - mellow moss, cranberry crisp, black, misc Christmas DP
Accessories - black brads, black dotted organdy, liquid applique
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you tonight at the Verve release party on SCS -7pm Pacific time!!
