Spellbinders Out and About collection -Cute gnome card

 Hi everyone! I am excited to share a cute gnome card made with one of the sets from the brand new Out & About Collection released this month from Spellbinders.  This collection features 15 super cute die sets that are perfectly sized perfectly to fit in the new smaller Spellbinders Scout Die Cutting Machine.

GARDEN BUDDIES AND CREATE A DECORATIVE TAG DIE SETS

The cute little gnome, birdie and flowers are from the Garden Buddies die set. This is a set of 10 dies and is a smaller set at the price of $14.99. The tiny mushrooms are from the Mushroom Mansion die set which is a larger set of 14 and has a price of $24.99. Stay tuned for another project featuring this die set in a few days. 😍

The tag is cut with the Create a Decorative Tag die set which is a fun set with this tag shape and a few intricate designs and fringe to decorate it. It's currently on sale for $7.99!

I adhered the tag to a stitched rectangle cut with the Nested Postage Labels and Tag die set and added a strip of patterned paper. I layered this on to a card base that was embossed with the Leafy Helix embossing folder which is in my top 10 favorite folders.

I added a few gems from one of the new 9 Color Essential Gems released this month. This pack is called Berry and is a deep rich magenta color.

Heart stenciled background LOVE gnome card

 Hi everyone! I have a fun card to share. I don't use background stencils often, but when I first saw this adorable Heart Patterns stencil I just had to have it! Well, it sat on my desk for 3 months and I finally took the time to ink it up. It's as cute as I thought it would be!!

 I used Kitch Flamingo Distress Oxide on the first layer of the hearts and Lumberjack Plaid for the second "heart accents" layer. Then I went back over the second layer with some Stickles Moon Dust Glitter Gel on the striped heart parts only. I taped off the other heart accent details using some low tack Mint Tape.

Next I die cut the mini LOVE die 8 times with red cardstock so I could build it up deep enough to put a few shaker elements in the O. I could have used foam tape, but it was such a small curved area that I opted for the multiple die cuts. This LOVE die was a FREEBIE on one of my last orders to Scrapbook.com. Don't sleep on those freebies, sometimes I hold my order if I don't like/need the freebies to see what the next freebies are!

I thought the card could use a little something else, so I pulled out my Love Gnomes stamp set and added the cutie.

Valentine Gnome shaker card

 Hi everyone! I have a fun Valentine gnome shaker card to share today! I really need to make more shaker cards. Not only are they fun, but I have oodles and oodles of shaker fillings, beads and sequins in my craft room and I HAVE to start using them.

LOVE GNOMES STAMP SET

This cute gnome is 1 of 4 from the stamp set Love Gnomes by Scrapbook.com. Isn't he the cutest? I stamped him out and colored with Copic markers. The swirly pink patterned paper is from the A2 Berry Sweet paper pad. And the coordinating solid pink is from the same pad. I have tons of pink cardstock, but it's a time saver to just have the perfect shade in the same paper pad!

I trimmed down the swirly paper and framed it with white and a solid pink. In order to keep the center of the swirl centered on my card, I carefully trimmed all 4 sides equally. 

I used the Spellbinders Essential Hearts die set to make the shaker piece and put Mr. Love Gnomie to the side to let most of the shaker bits show.

Hi everyone! I have some fun Christmas tags to share. I love me some gnomies and Christmas Gnomes may be my favorite!! My cards all use the cute Christmas Gnomes stamp and die set by Scrapbook.com. A couple of these gnomes can be used all year round (the Present Gnome and Mug Gnome). Check out what I made.

I used the super cute patterned paper from the Carta Bella Winter Time 6x6 pad. I paper pieced most of their hats and did some simple coloring for the rest with Copics. Behind each gnome is a snowflake die cut from the irridescent sparkly paper by Lawn Fawn called Pixie Dust. I've never seen this before yesterday at my friend Debbie's house and let me tell you I have never bought something so fast before! Literally in my shopping cart before I got home!

The tag dies are from Waffle flower, their Nesting Tags die set. Super cute with great sizes! Here are close up pics for each of the cute gnomies!

To tie in the red accents, I paper pieced the mug from patterned paper and I added liquid applique to the foam on his mug. So adorable!

Clean and Simple Merry Christmas Gnome

 Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a very clean and simple Christmas gnome card. I used the Gnome Hugs die set by Spellbinders and some older Christmas papers by Echo Park from the Lumberjack Christmas collection.

Just a couple circles and the gnome! I couldn't help myself but to add a few holly leaves and some red rhinestones. This one can easily be mailed with no extra postage. Gotta love that!

 

I added 2 scorelines along the bottom for a bit of texture and some copic coloring in his beard to give it dimension. If you want to make it even flatter, you could substitute some red berries die cuts for the rhinestones and not use foam tape on the gnome and sentiment. Those swaps could also make it easier to mass produce!

Tiered Tray Collection: Valentines tray

 Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a Valentines themed Tiered Tray! This fabulous Tiered Tray die set  can be used for any season, holiday or occasion.

You can see my Pink Christmas and Farmhouse Fall trays for more ideas.

I used 2 cutie gnomes on this tray, each with their hats die cut from patterned paper. This is a quick and easy way to change them up to match any decor theme. Did you notice the mug with pink heart lollipops? SO cute! A little glossy accents on the heart die cuts gave them that little something extra.

Some gnomes and some Peace love and joy

 Hi everyone! When I say life is getting in the way of crafting and blogging, I'm not kidding! LOL! With my boys being back at school in person full time I thought things would slow down, but nope. I'm busy as ever! So this post will be sort of a catch up on a trio of projects I made months ago and will give me the chance to share 2 cards I made yesterday!

First up are a few cards I made a few months ago using the Gina K Designs/Thermoweb collaboration Gnome for the Holidays AND the add on kit called Gnome for the Holidays: Festive Fall.  

This Halloween gnome is rocking a sparkly hat and pants!

This little gnome with a sparkling pumpkin spiced latte!

Lastly is are 2 Christmas gnomes on a set of 3x3 cards. Perfect to tuck into a Christmas gift bag or box!

Next are 2 Christmas cards using the new Perfect Poinsettia stamp set by Gina K Designs. This set was part of the September kit and is now available to purchase on its own. I love it because it's a multi-step flower and it has great dimension without adding bulk making it perfect to mail! And this adds a few more poinsettia cards to my stash

This card is a mini slimline using the dies in the Gina K Master Layouts 7 die set. Not gonna lie, I am really loving the mini slimline card size!
