This month's Hero Studio die set is called Alphabet Soup and features a soup bowl, spoon, hands for the spoon/bowl (I did not use), some soup embellishments and alphabet letters. So cute!

To start my card I chose a piece of patterned paper from the Charming pad that I thought resembled a table cloth. I die cut the plate from a coordinating piece to mimic a subtle pattern. I chose to go with some good ole tomato soup for my Get Well card. I added some score lines (hard to see in pics) along both sides of the paper to give some texture. I think this turned out super cute!

To start my card, I chose a pretty paper from the A2 Cottage paper pad and adhered it to my card base. I chose a few colors and die cut the book bag, books and flowers and mixed and matched until I liked the arrangement. This set is perfect for sending cards to all the book lovers in our lives!

This month's Hero Studio die set is called Twinkle Lights and features 5 string lights and 4 light bulb dies. So cute! I die cut the string lights from Matte Silver cardstock and the bulbs from 4 fun colors.

I wanted to create a "glow" behind the first layer of lights, so I marked with light pencil where each bulb was and lightly inked with Distress Oxide inks. I'm not sure if I like it or now, but I went with it! The sentiment is die cut from the subscription Bonus item. If you subscribe to the "The Whole Studio" you get a bonus item and this month it's a cute sentiment die with shadow. I only used the "Merry", but the entire sentiment reads "Merry Everything". This card is flat and will be perfect for mailing!

This month's set is called Cozy Critters and features several critter heads, a bed frame, comforter and pillow. I chose to the adorable bear and thought the papers from the A2 Charming paper pad was perfect for the comforter and wall paper! The sentiment is from a Hero Transfers set from last year called Winter Script Messages. I thought this sentiment was perfect for the bear snuggled in his blanket! He's the cutest!

Here is a peek at the clubs

This month's theme is Halloween and I'm here for it! The die set features 5 frames and a variety of Halloween icons to mix and match! I started out by using a piece of A2 Spooky paper pad as my base. I die cut the frames with satin gold cardstock and then inked Bristol Smooth cardstock with Villainous Potion and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. Then I spritzed it with both Villainous Potion and Frozen Fog and used it behind the frames. I die cut the icons out of black cardstock and printed off the sentiment from my computer.

Just look at that shine! I love how this turned out.
