Hi everyone! I'm so excited about these 2 wreath cards I'm sharing today. I just love how they turned out. I figured out how to get perfectly round and fluffy wreaths using the Build-a-Wreath die set and I can see using them all year round.
First up is a totally dashing Mrs. Snowman in her pink, white and red striped scarf surrounded by lovely pink poinsettias. I started out by making with the wreath with 2 shades of green cardstock and adhering them to a die cut ring of green cardstock, you can see a visual of that in this post. I like this method as it gives me a perfect circle and allows me to cut some of the greenery smaller and fluff up the bits and ends.
The snowman and poinsettias are from the Christmas Wreath Add-on die set. It comes with this snowman, a Christmas tree, poinsettias, snowflakes and much more. I love it! So detailed.
The background is from the Flurry of Snowflakes 3D embossing folder. I embossed white cardstock and then lightly inked with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink using a blending brush. I then added some Twinkle Stickles for some sparkle.
Next is a super simple wreath card and this time I used one of the new wax seals as the hanging "ornament". It's called "Merry Christmas Square" and I went over the details with the DecoColor Silver pen.
I die cut the ornament topper from Silver Mirror cardstock and adhered it to the top of my wax seal turning it into a hanging ornament on the wreath.
