Hugs and Roses

Hi everyone! I finally busted out my sewing machine and put it to work. You see, my bobbin ran out of thread about 4 months ago and I just sort of let it sit. I'm not that savvy with it and I knew I would need to get the instructions book and figure things out. Happy to say after only 3 attempts, I got everything set up and working!

To get the ruched look, I gathered the white organdy ribbon in small bits as I sewed along the card front. I love how it turned out! I used one of my favorite flower sets, Embroidered Rose set which is part of the Mystic Romance collection.  I stamped the roses in Grape Fusion and Deep Lilac and the leaves are in Kiwi Slice.  The sentiment is from the Ampersand Notes stamp set.
