Life is Better

Hi everyone!  Soooo have you all had a chance to see Fun Stampers Journey BRAND NEW Inspiration Book and Catalog 2016-2017???  Oh. My. Word.  It is gorgeous!  And HUGE!  Seriously, there are 316 pages, which is a FULL 100 pages larger than last years catalog. There are so many new stamp sets, die sets, embellishments, just TONS of amazing products and inspiration!

And, in this day and age when catalogs are getting smaller and cheaper, this catalog certainly stands out -if I do say so myself!!  LOL!

So today's card uses a couple new items.  I used the adorable Creature Comforts stamp and die set and some ca-uuuute resin flowers which came from one of THREE new packs of flowers in the catalog.  Be still my heart.  I used 2 of the 5 flower designs from the Confectionary Blooms pack.

I even stepped out of my comfort zone and used some Silver Silk for some light splattering.  I usually shy away from Silks because I can't completely control where the drops hit the paper and it makes my OCD a little crazy.  BUT I'm trying to use it more because it adds some fun interest to plain cardstock.
