Beautiful Bride

Hi everyone!  It's been a long month since I've blogged.  Most of you know Fun Stampers Journey is getting ready to launch a brand new catalog on July 1st and there's been a LOT of fun crafting behind the scenes to get everything ready!  I can't wait for you all to see all the new and amazing goodies that are launching this year!

So it's May and that means summer weddings are coming up and my card uses one of the new sets from the Spring into Summer catalog called, Beautiful Bride.  It is so lovely and elegant!
I accented the bride image with the Love Buds rosettes which were available in the Spring mini catalog.  I believe they have retired, but hopefully you stocked up before they did!  This card is pretty simple and doesn't use many products (only 1 color of cardstock) and I think it perfectly highlights the beautiful bride image.  To create some of the texture along the bottom left, I just used my score tool and scored lines 1/2 inch apart.

Next I made a coordinating gift card holder.  I can't tell you how much I LOVE the Gift Card Sleeve die!  I use this more than anything these days because my sons are of the age where their friends only want ITunes gift cards for their birthdays-LOL!  But I digress... gift cards also make the perfect wedding present and coordinating it back to the card is easy to do with some matching ribbon and sequins.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!  Here's a close up picture of the scored lines details.
