Hi everyone! Long time no post, soooooo where have I been?
Well I have big news to share!!
I have accepted a part time position with Journey Blooms by Richard Garay. Yep, I've been a stay at home mom for 11 years (and honestly didn't think I would ever go back to work), but to work part time from home doing what I love, CRAFTING was such a dream come true! Here's the Journey Crew:
I've just returned from Phoenix for an introduction to Journey Blooms/design team retreat and it was so wonderful! Before leaving I browsed the Fun Stampers Journey catalog, but didn't realize the scope and full range of products this company has to offer until I saw it in person. I mean, the color palette is to die for! And talk about top quality!?! Spellbinders makes the dies, so I already know the quality there and the stamps are precut red rubber cling -awesome.
Honestly, I am very particular with the products I align myself with and am super excited to begin this next phase of my crafting journey with Richard and his company.
Along with Tania and Laura, I was there with the Blog Team Kathy Martin and Angi Barrs (Mindy Baxter was unable to attend). Here are a few pictures (I won't burden you with them all).
A little background, Journey Blooms is the parent company to Fun Stampers Journey (FSJ), a consultant based stamping company. Like Stampin' Up or AMuse Studios, you need to order products through a Journey Coach. I am NOT a coach so you won't be able to purchase any FSJ products from me. If you are interested in purchasing products, you can find a Journey Coach in your area by searching here (click Shop Now and follow the prompts).
The tagline for this team is #makeamazinghappen, so if you see me tag my Pinterest and Facebook posts with that, you'll know why. We like to "Make Amazing Happen"!!
What does this mean for my creative time and blog? Well, I'm still on the Spellbinders Blog team, so you will see my SB projects regularly just like before. It sounds like most of my Fun Stampers Journey projects will be sent to Phoenix for catalog, trade show and booth work along with an occasional FSJ posts here on my blog. So there really won't be a noticeable difference.
Thanks for stopping by and letting me share my news! Have a great day!
Congratulations!!

ReplyDeleteYou go girl - congrats :) I am now working PT after 15 years at home with the kids and LOVE my job! Cuts into crafting time and makes your priorities rise to the top (eg. much less commenging time on blogs etc.) but it has been a huge blessing and best part is it is only two days a week (albeit looong days 12 hours or so) and only 5 min from home. Love my boss, my job share partner and my job. Thrilled for your new venture ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteLooks like you guys had a blast! Congratulations - it's funny you are entering the workforce after 11 years and my journey working from home for 9 years ended abruptly on Friday - life is a crazy ride - enjoy your amazing journey!
ReplyDeleteWe are going to have so much fun making AMAZING happen! :) :)
