Spellbinders Winter CHA 2015 Sneak Peek and Giveaway: Day 5

Hi everyone!!  Welcome to Day 5 of the Spellbinders Winter Sneak Peek and Giveaway.  I am excited to show you one of the new flower die templates that will be released at the Winter CHA trade show in January.  Here's the exciting part, there will be a chance for you to win these dies as well as a grand prize sponsored by Spellbinders, so be sure to look for the highlighted contest link at the bottom of my post.

The die set I'm working with today is the Tudor Rose and here is my first card.
Supply List for Thank You card:
Spellbinders® Die Templates
IN-012 Celebration
S5-232 Tudor Rose
GC-001 GrandCalibur® die cutting and embossing machine

Cross Promotional Partners
Bazzill Paper Basics®: Marshmallow, Licorice Twist, Taffy, Gum Drop Card Shoppe cardstock
Want2Scrap: Say it with Bling, clear rhinestones
SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™: 3D Foam squares
Other products
Sky blue and Lavender cardstock

Instructions:
To create the inset flower border first die cut your flowers and arrange them on the cardstock how you want them.  This will give you a die cutting template of sorts.
(Designer tip)
It can be tricky to center all the flower die cuts, so I cut my cardstock 1/2" larger than I need allowing me to trim it down perfectly centered at the end.
Step 1:
Step 2:
Continue working your way out with Step 3:
Finish working your way out with Step 4:

Trim white panel down to card size by centering with Step 5:
Lastly I scored vertical lines spaced 1/4" apart and adhered to card front using foam squares.  Assemble and adhere the pale blue and lavender flowers, inserting them into their pre-cut holes.  Here is a side view.

My second card uses the Tudor Rose in it's historical colors. There is an amazing history to the Tudor Rose.  It was the official emblem for the Tudor Dynasty and King Henry VII.  The red and white flower colors combined the emblems of the House of York and House of Lancaster when King Henry married Elizabeth of York.
Here is the image, isn't it stunning?
My card frames the Tudor Rose with a regal frame stamped and embossed with gold powder.  Simple gold accents finish the card.
