Today we are spotlighting 2 sets:
A Year of Flowers 2, illustrated by Melanie
All Occasion Tags 2, illustrated by Tami
First up is a card I made for A Year of Flowers 2. This is my favorite flowers stamp set Melanie has illustrated so far. I think it's because the flowers have a whimsical feel to them. I like realistic flowers, but I am drawn to those with a playful flair.
For this card I went with monochromatic colors and used Lots of Dots in the background embossed in white. I stamped the flowers in yellow and cut them out and added yellow pearls to the center.
Next up is a card I made for All Occasion Tags 2. I LOVE this set as the frame images coordinate with Spellbinders' Grommet Tags dies. I used some of Gina's new Color Companions line on this one. I used Tickled Pink buttons, Dark Sage ink and Powder Blue ribbon.
