Verve Winter Release spotlights - Day 3

Hi everyone!  Welcome to Day 3 of the Verve Winter release spotlights!  Today we are spotlighting the FABULOUS sets, Merry Wishes (a delightful set of 13 sentiment and 6 image stamps) and Sweet Scallop Tag (a fantastic tag shaped stamp, shown on my Day 1 post).

I have 2 cards to share today.   My first card uses a sentiment from Merry Wishes -the fonts in this set are perfect and can carry a card on their own!  The pattern paper is from MME, the I Believe collection.  I have been seeing this clever corner punched square design all over and decided to try it myself.  I like how this turned out!  It would be just as cute and quicker to make by eliminating the brown matting layers.  I loves me some quick Christmas card designs!!
Next up is a card that uses two sizes of the holly branch image, also from Merry Wishes.  I colored them with a red copic marker and then added red stickles.  The sentiment is the JOY plain Jane that we spotlighted on Day 1.  The pattern paper is from Cosmo Cricket, Mitten Weather.
Here is a list of the Divas who have Spotlight samples to share today.  As usual, one lucky random commenter will be winning all the stamps spotlighted today!

Happy hopping!

The release party will be Friday on Verve forum on SCS.  The fun starts at 6pm Pacific - I'll be getting the family take-out dinner and will be ready to party!  Hope to see you there.

Thanks for stopping by!  Stay tuned for more spotlights tomorrow!!

  8. These are wonderful. I love the simplicity of the geometric design...and the little snowflake/button/twine touch just adds some whimsy! The colors in the second one are so fresh for a holiday card. That is probably my favorite all-time ribbon, too. I'm sad it was an in-color limited one...
