Hi everyone and welcome to the Stamp Simply blog hop this month's theme is -Spring Flowers Just For You!! This blog hop will feature cards or projects using flowers!! AND there is some GREAT blog candy up for grabs to one lucky commenter -a gift certificate to Sharon's store!! So hop along and if you see something you like leave a comment!
My card uses the sunflower image and border from the JustRite Stampers My Garden set. The pattern paper is from the October Afternoon, Ducks in a Row 8x8 pad. See? The paper can be used for more than baby cards!
I stamped the sunflower 2 times, colored them with my copic markers and popped up the second one for dimension. I stamped the circle border on PTI's new Hawaiian Shores cardstock and used my circle nestabilities to create a ring. I tied a piece of 3/8" yellow gingham ribbon around one end. In case you recognize it, the layout is from Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch from last week.
Here are a couple of pictures showing how I made the circle border -see? Easy peasy!!
Note you can get all the supplies I used on this card at Sharon's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
