What could possibly make the {ippity} Kissmas & Mistletoe set better? How about some pattern paper and carefully selected embellishments?
Yep that would do it!
For those readers who are just getting started on the Christmas cards (I know you're out there!), I put together a little kit to go with the Kissmas & Mistletoe stamp set. Check the entire kit and all the details here on my {ippity} sales blog!!
I also have a couple cards to share. This first is a super CAS card. The fun glittery butterfly is actually a sticker from the Mike's dollar bin! The butterfly tail is part of a larger stamp that I masked off. I used some Basic Grey Euphoria scraps I had, and added some Kaiser rhinestones -easy peasy!
A little tip -sometimes it can be tricky to wrap ribbon around a single layer card, but for this one I hid where the ends met UNDER the circles. That way the unsightly (for those of us with stamping ODC) ends are hidden!
Here is a picture of the inside. I kept with the straight lines and circles.
This next card also has butterflies and the same BG paper, but has a totally different feel. I have used a layout before and just love it, that Top Note die is GORgeous! The felt butterflies are from the online store Craft Embellishment World, I added some Zva Creative rhinestone swirls for the tail. I snipped off the end of each rhinestone "tail" and added a light pink one (from Kaiser). Again, pretty easy peasy!
Thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned for Friday's post, it's gonna be a fun one!!!
