PaperTrey WCMD Challenges

Hi everyone! I have a couple WCMD challenge cards to share. These are for PaperTrey's challenges to make cards inspired by Japan and India (I didn't get to Australia and Mexico). I had a blast with these and both were totally driven by Pattern Paper. First up, Japan. This gorgeous Kaiser Craft PP is from one of my BFF's, Kathy -thanks girl! It's called Sakura Pack and has amazing Japanese prints!

I used some Pure Poppy grosgrain ribbon and the button is vintage from my granny's tin. The sentiment is from Birthday Basics and I added a couple touches of gold in the pearl accents and gold cord on the button.

This card also follow's Beate's WSC100. Love the clean simple lines of this sketch! Thanks Beate for 100 sketches!

Then I journeyed on to India. I actually started out inspired by Australia in that I used the dotted outlines of Vintage Labels. Using white dots were part of that challenge. But then as I went along, I figured the goregous colors of the Basic Grey, Indian Summer paper I chose, were more suited for India. So, I added plenty of gems to more closely follow the India challenge.

For this card I used the sentiment from Flourishes Many Sentiments. I added TONS of Kaiser rhinestones to this. I used the colors, Lippy Red, Yellow, and clear. This card follows this week's sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You #36. I don't often play along with these challenges, but this sketch really spoke to me.

Thanks for stopping by and a big THANK YOU to all the players of the Verve WCMD challenge. We had 157 players and was a huge success!! Congrats to Verve winners: Cook22, Grammyof2boys, Redlynny and Stargirl!
