For my first card, I used the Summer Words stencil and randomly inked parts with Mermaid Lagoon, Evergreen Bough and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks.
To create the shaker element, I then die cut the Seashell Shaker outline die INTO the stenciled panel. Then I covered the opening with acetate and added 3mm foam strips on the backside, creating a well for the shaker bits. Here is a photo from the backside for illustration.
For my second card, I used the Seashell Background stencil and randomly inked with Abandoned Coral and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks. I trimmed a strip across the card front and then added some splatter using the Mermaid Lagoon ink and a size 8 round brush.
The sentiment is from the Summer Script die and the Sentiment Strips: Summer stamp set. Both cards use die cuts from the Stitched Coral and Stitched Seashells die sets as accents. To create depth for all my die cut accents, I lightly inked the edges with Distress Oxide Inks. I wanted some sparkle, so I added sequins and stickles to the stitched lines in the die cuts. I love how both of these turned out!
