Hi crafty friends! I have a fun birthday card to share. Spellbinders released a fun Alien/UFO collection designed by Simon Hurley called Simon's Space Adventure. This collection features 2 die sets, 1 sentiment die set, 1 3D Emboss and Cut folder with a matching stencil! It's adorable and if you have a UFO fan in your life this is a great collection for you.

UFO FRIEND AND SPACE GREETINGS DIE SETS
I was scrolling on Pinterest looking for inspiration and found a digital card from K&S Design Co with a similar UFO. It was adorable and I had to CASE it. I love the soft muted color palette. Not something I normally gravitate to and I think it turned out so cute.
I used the White Splatter from Spellbinders for the background. This is a small pot with concentrated opaque white pigment. You need to add water to it to get it to splatter. I love how it shows up on black cardstock!
To get the UFO "light beams" I used the Rainbow Slice Tunnel die set from the Tunnel Scapes Collection. I didn't use them in their "tunnel" shape, I cut them apart and used the same side of the "tunnel" to get the layers to match. If you want to see another card using the Rainbow Slice Tunnel, you can check this post.
