3D Embossing Folder Blackout Technique You Are Wonderful card

Hi crafty friends! I have a fun card to share using the 3D Embossing Folder Blackout technique. This is my first time doing this technique and I am on the fence if I like it or not. With this technique, you color the REVERSE side of the embossed image and then drag your black ink pad over the flat "raised" areas.
There are a few videos on YouTube if you want a visual of how to do this.
AMARYLLIS GARDEN 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER AND WONDERFUL SCRIPT SENTIMENTS

I used the gorgeous Amaryllis Garden 3D Embossing folder from the newest collection by Yana Smakula for Spellbinders called Amaryllis Christmas!
Yana's new collection features die sets, Glimmer hot foil and BetterPress Plates, layering stencils and a 3D Embossing Folder. Check out what I made and scroll down for a list of all the supplies I used.
I used blending brushes and inked the flowers with Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry and Lumberjack Plaid and the leaves and stems with Rustic Wilderness. Keep in mind, with this technique, you are coloring the RECESSED side.
I used a yellow glitter gel pen for the stamen accents. The sentiment is from the Wonderful Script Sentiments dies combined with the coordinating hot foil set.
Lastly I added a tiny flower bloom from the Mini Blooms and Sprigs die set with a single gem in the center.
This technique is a bit messy up close (which is why I'm on the fence), but overall gives a fun dramatic look. Have you tried this technique? I'm curious!
