Hi everyone! Today's card uses one of the brand new In'spire line of dies called Blossom Fan. I think this fan has a lovely design -I love the roses!
My card measures 41/4" square and on the fan die cut, I sponged Versamark ink into the raised "fan pieces" for added depth and embossed some silver foil into the opening details. Here is a picture showing how I did it. I ended up using red for my card, but my first attempt was in pink. You can see I trimmed the foil, glued it down on the back side and then embossed it, pushing the foil through the openings. Kinda cool!
I used my Classic Squares LG to make a black frame and popped it up with dimensions over a Scalloped Squares frame of wood grain paper. I glued the sentiment across the corner.

Oh how pretty. Glad to see the fan cut out, its prettier than I thought. Love how you did the trick with the foil, what a unique idea and it really looks lovely on the fan.
ReplyDeleteI love how you added the silver foil behind the cut out pieces. And the embossing on the raised pieces gives them beautiful dimension. Amazing card.
