This week the DDC was challenged by Beestamper, Beverly, to make a masculine card using a TWIG! Say what? A TWIG? It was then clarified that we could use a stamped twig -whew! So, when I was at Heidi's last week, I borrowed her PTI Out on a Limb set. It has a branch/twig, so I was good to go. I decided to make another sympathy card, this one is masculine. Why are these the hardest?
Anyway, I chose this card to case. I don't have that same CB folder, so I used SU! retired French Script. I also changed the colors and theme, but kept the same layout.
Card Deets:
Stamps - Out on a Limb
Paper - Very vanilla, mellow moss, sahara sand, bordering blue
Ink - close to cocoa, artichoke, sahara sand
Accessories - rectangle nesties, brad, moss taffeta ribbon
This is beautiful, Michelle....I love your *twig* and the beautiful colors!! That Beverly really challenged us this week!!!
ReplyDeleteThis card is definitely so soft and soothing. I was saying that before I even noticed the words. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI see you even managed to make a twig look lovely and elegant!! This is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteOh that is so elegant!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteA very pretty sympathy card, I love the French Script background stamp, I think I've used it more than any other on my cards.
