Hi everyone! I'm back with 2 cards for this week's FABULOUS Cupcake Inspiration challenge from Hope Stamps Eternal! I haven't stamped in over 2 weeks and man, it was tough getting started. I think I left my MOJO at the Basic Grey booth at CHA!! LOL! That place was amazing, but I digress... Check out these cutie cuppies!! There is all kinds of Valentine-y goodness going on. They're not subtle, that's for sure!
I took my inspiration from the hearts and all kinds of colors going on! I thought it would be perfect to use this week's Fall To Layout 76 and punched designer paper squares. This first card uses My Mind's Eye Be Loved and a couple punched hearts. The sentiment is from Verve's Heart's Desire set.

I had fun with this one, so I made another. This time using My Mind's Eye Love Me Do -such fun non-traditional Valentine colors in this line (sorry, Rach is out of stock),

Everyone is invited to play along in the challenge!! If you do, be sure to link your creation to Mr. Linky on the HSE blog and use CIC44 when uploading. Every week, Rach highlighs the top 5!!

Cupcake inpsiration challenge #37

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and that means it's time for another FABULOUS Cupcake Inspiration challenge from Hope Stamps Eternal! Check out this week's cupcakes - how cute are these guys??
OK, so have you ever have a card in your mind? You imagine it pretty, with lovely swirls on the pattern paper, gorgeous snowflake embossed cross panel, amazing image, billowing snow along the bottom, it follows the VLVDec01 sketch and BOOM!

The card is a stinker? I mean, seriously a STINKER?

That happened to me with my card! I tried and tried. The more stuff I did to this card, the WORSE it got! Desperately trying to avoid the trash can, I took away some panels, added 2 snowflakes and managed to salvage it in some way - LOL!

Here it is... see what I mean? EGADS! Oh well, I gotta let it go -LOL! The turquoise snowman is from {ippity} stamps, Kissmas & Mistletoe and the pattern paper is Cosmo Cricket, Jolly by Golly. The snowman has some tiny Zva Creative rhinestones on him and he is tucked behind a drift of snow. The snow is made from Glistening Snow Writer by DecoArt and I added Stickles to the snowflakes.

Since I wasn't very happy with my first attempt, I decided to make another card and I like it MUCH better.

To get my MOJO working again, I used Julee's Mojo Monday sketch that I really love. **sigh** circles just make me happy!! The pattern paper is Basic Grey, Eskimo Kisses (Rachel is out of stock) and the tree and sentiment are also from {ippity} stamps, Kissmas & Mistletoe.
I did some sewing and distressing on this one. Haven't done that in awhile. I used my beloved Swiss Dots EF and Zva rhinestones. Oh, and see how "Peace" is stamped along the bottom? I wanted it soft, so I used the Creamy Caramel ink I used for the sponging. Again, more snow behind the tree -kinda pretty!!

Everyone is invited to play along in the challenge!! If you do, be sure to link your creation to Mr. Linky on the HSE blog and use CIC37 when uploading. Every week, Rach highlighs the top 5!! Congrats to this week's Top Picks !!!

Now head on over to the Sweeties and see how they rocked this cupcake!!!!

Cupcake inspiration challenge #36

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and that means it's time for another FABULOUS Cupcake Inspiration challenge from Hope Stamps Eternal! Check out this week's cupcake, how cute is this??

I was inspired by the white fluffy icing to use a snowman image and the yummy holly leaves. My card uses some of my favorite Jolly by Golly paper and chipboard stickers from Cosmo Cricket. This little snowman just makes me smile! I added some Zva Creative flower shaped rhinestones for his buttons and tag.

This card is pretty simple, I used some ribbon, a red button and some of the wired silver cord that I am addicted to of late. I was planning on doing some sewing on this, but I had a holiday craft fair today and my mojo took a runner!! LOL!

Everyone is invited to play along in the challenge!! If you do, be sure to link your creation to Mr. Linky on the HSE blog. Every week, Rach highlighs the top 5!! Congrats to this week's Top Picks !!!

Featured Stamper cards and a Cyper Monday Sale at HSE!

Hi everyone, I have 2 cards to share that I made for the featured stamper challenge this week -to CASE Mrs. Boz, aka CarollAnn! Not only is she incredibily talented and such a sweet person. I chose this lovely card to case. I couldn't get the black base to work for some reason, so I changed up the layers a bit. I used PTI's new Turning a New Leaf for the branch and {ippity} stamps Just Wanted to Say for the sentiment. The branch is adorned with some flower cupped sequins with a green bead glued in the center.

See that cutie butterfly? It's a new Martha Stewart punch that comes with 3 stamps in it to decorate the butterfly! Wha...?? Stamps with a Martha punch ? Be still my heart!

This second card is a difference version of the first. I found this fabulous houndstooth ribbon at Michael's bin and HAD to buy it. I have had a passion for houndstooth for some time now, sigh... Anyway, again I used PTI's new Turning a New Leaf for the branch and {ippity} stamps Just Wanted to Say.

This time for the sentiment panel, I masked off the little bird in the Top Note shaped stamp and stamped it in black. I then stamped the bird in pink, and cut it out. After I stamped in the You're So Fabulous sentiment, I popped up the bird and added a tiny rhinestone for it's eye. Of course, I added more sequins and silver pearls on this one and used my FAV punch, Upper Crest.

EDITED TO ADD: The HSE sale will be held over thru Tuesday! PayPal was having some issues last night and some people couldn't place their order!!

I also wanted to let you all know about a FABULOUS Cyper Monday sale going on at Hope Stamps Eternal, the ENTIRE store is on sale at a 30% discount! All stuff old and new is on sale! Hurry on over there and check it out.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #35

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and that means it's time for another FABULOUS Cupcake Inspiration challenge from Hope Stamps Eternal! Check out this week's cupcake, how STUNNING is this??
I LOVE the elegance of this cupcake and I tried to capture some of it. I took inspiration from the pale blue, white and silver colors and the snowman image. I used my Kissmas and Mistletoe set from {ippity} stamps. I embossed the snowman and sentiment with silver EP and added some silver sequins with tiny green rhinestones from a Zva Creative wheel.

The DP is Basic Grey, Eskimo Kisses and I used my beloved Swiss Dots EF. I hope you all will never get tired of me using that folder -LOL! The snowflakes are punched out, edged with silver craft ink and also added silver sequins with blue Zva rhinestones.
Hopefully you can get a better look at the close-up picture.

Since I had lots of scraps and nesties out on my desk, I did another! This one is a Christmas thank you card using the tree image from Kissmas & Mistletoe (also embossed in silver) and the sentiment is from Verve's new Celebration of Thanks set. I took a better picture this morning, you can tell the outer circle is SHINY SILVER! I recycled the sides of an old gift bag!

BTW, can you tell I am addicted to circle cards ? LOL!

Everyone is invited to play along in the challenge!! If you do, be sure to link your creation to Mr. Linky on the HSE blog. Every week, Rach highlighs the top 5!! Congrats to this week's Top Picks !!!

Now head on over to my fellow HSE Sweetie's and see how they rocked this cupcake!!!!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #34

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and that means it's time for another FABULOUS Cupcake Inspiration challenge from Hope Stamps Eternal! Check out this week's cupcake, how yummy delish is this one??
I was totally inspired by the apples and ran with green and the circle shape. I used my new {Ippity} stamp set, Just Because of You and paired it with Cosmo Cricket Early bird 6x6 mini deck. See the tiny yellow bling on the butterflies (maybe you can in the close up pic)? They are from the Zva Creative crystal shapes wheel. I think Rach is out of the shapes wheel right now -oh Rach??.

The stamp is from {Ippity} Stamps! Yep, my Ippity stamps arrived. You can find all the details here.

Before I go, I have another {Ippity} card to share. I made this one for one of the CAS sketch challenges over on SCS. Aren't those mushrooms the cutest? They are from Because of You and the sentiment is from Just Wanted to Say!!! The DP is from an old Basic Grey pad, Gypsy (I still love that paper!). The ribbon is PTI Aqua Mist, the buttons are PTI Terracotta Tile, and the rhinestones are Kaiser Dark Pink.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Sunday! I will be seeing New Moon today at 3:15 and I am BEYOND excited!!!! It's been all I can physically do to keep from going crazy to wait this long. **sigh** Edward, I am coming.

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #33

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and that means it's time for another FABULOUS Cupcake Inspiration challenge from Hope Stamps Eternal! Check out this week's fun fall cupcakes, aren't they amazing?
I took my inspiration from the leaves and used some of my Cosmo Cricket, Nutmeg 6x6 paper. Quick confession, I think I love Cosmo paper more than Basic Grey -GASP! Yes, I said it, it's out there now. I have a new love. Sorry BG, you just aren't as fresh and fun as Cosmo anymore!!

Back to the card. I used one of the CAS challenge layouts for this card. I started out by punching all the squares using my 1" punch. Then, as I needed more room here and there to accommodate the Zva rhinestones, I trimmed the squares a tiny bit. The stamps are from Verve's Tall Oaks set. I think this is a perfect quick and easy Thanksgiving card.

Here is a detail shot to see the dimension and glitter on the acorn. Everyone is welcome to play along in the cupcake inspiration challenge. You DON'T need to use cupcakes to play along. Just make a card, layout or whatever and link it to the Mr. Linky on the HSE blog. Every week, Rach highlighs the top 5!! Congrats to this week's Top Picks (I will update link in the morning)!!!

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to stop by my fellow Sweeties blogs and see what lovely cards they made.

Cupcake Inspiration challenge #32

Hi everyone! It's Sunday and that means it's time for another FABULOUS Cupcake Inspiration challenge from Hope Stamps Eternal! Check out this week's elegant cupcakes, aren't they amazing?
I also want you all to help me welcome our newest HSE Sweetie, Teresa Kline!! To say I love this girl, doesn't cover it! Teresa is amazingly talented and a real sweetie (heehee). I love designing with Teresa on the Verve Stamps team and we are super lucky to have her on our HSE team!

We also have a goodbye. I want to say goodbye to Tammy who had to step down from the team. Tammy good luck with everything, you will be missed!

I don't have a cupcake card to share with you today. I have been feeling yucky for a couple days now and just didn't have time to make a card.

But, I can share with you a set of Verve 3x3 mini cards that was accepted for October's issue of Cards Magazine. The set was accepted and they chose to publish one, did you see which one? LOL! Actually, it was my least favorite of the bunch (isn't that how it always goes?)!

They chose the Just Because card on the far right for the issue!! Here is a close up of it. I still haven't received my copy from Cards yet (what up?), but I did see it online. My favorite card is the Smile card on the upper left, THAT is the one I was hoping to see in print. LOL!

Oh, and check out page 130 of this month's Cards magazine (November)!! My card actually uses the very same Verve "Just Because" sentiment!! Yep, I love Verve sentiments!

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to stop by my fellow Sweeties blogs and see what lovely cards they made.
