Throwback Thursday: Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms split cards

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to another Throwback Thursday. Today I am sharing cards from my ALL TIME most popular blog post from February 2022, cards using the fabulous Be Bold Blooms die set by Spellbinders.
I used the split card technique where I make a pencil mark along the center of 8.5" x 5.5" piece of white cardstock and arrange the blooms along the center. Cut in half and you have the start for 2 cards! I did this technique a few times since and I love how they turn out!
TIP: One thing I will do differently next time - not use as many layers for the flower centers. Some had 4 layers and they were very hard to cut through.
I just love how this die set is as beautiful and popular now as it was almost 4 years ago!!

Simon Hurley Christmas Hugs

Hi crafty friends! I have a fun snowman card to share today. This cutie is from a stamp/die set designed by Simon Hurley for Spellbinders. And the background uses a Poly-Glaze foil sheet I had in my stash! Scroll down for a list of supplies.
To make the background, I used the Poly-Glaze foil sheet called Blanket of Snow from Gina K Designs with the Deco-foil Sparkling Silver. To use these sheets, you need a use a laminator like Gina's Fuse machine or Anna Griffin's Minc. I ink blended the sheet with Distress Oxide Inks listed below. These Poly-Glaze sheets take ink beautifully!
The adorable snowman is from the Christmas Hugs stamp and die set and I colored him with Copic markers. I popped him up with foam squares on the Perfect Touch Arches die set then embossed with the Tiny Dots EF.
I colored his scarf with a variety of blues to compliment the background. I love how this turned out!

Throwback Thursday: Finley the Fox card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to another Throwback Thursday. Happy Thanksgiving! Today I am sharing my favorite fall card that I made last October. I made this using the Woodland Tales collection by Spellbinders. The collection is sold out on Spellbinders website, but you can still find it on the Scrapbook.com website!
This card uses several die sets from the collection. The floral is from the Woodland Tales Floral die set, the fox is from the Finley The Fox die set and the sentiment is from the Woodland Tales Sentiment die set (sadly the fern die is sold out).
I made 4 cards from this collection. Here is a pic of all four.

Pretty Pink Post Igloo shaker card

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a shaker card using products from the Pretty Pink Posh November Winter release!!
💥The release is available now! Check it out the entire release HERE.💥
Scroll down for a complete supply list.
My card uses the adorable Igloo Shaker die set which measures 4" wide and is the perfect size to take up most of the card front leaving room for embellishments. I die cut a few trees with the Snowy Hills Border die set and added stickles to the branches for some sparkling snow. The adorable penguins are from the Penguin Friends stamp and coordinating die set and I colored them with copic markers. I stamped the sentiment, trimmed it out and then outlined it with a Copic marker so it would stand out against the white igloo.
To make the background, I ink blended a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock with the inks linked below. I then added some white splatter. To make the shaker element, I die cut the igloo outline with the shaker portions die cut out 8 times and adhered together. Not all of the pieces were die cut in the exact same place, but once they are layered and filled with shaker clay confetti you can't tell at all. I filled it with Pastel Blizzard Clay Confetti pack. I love how this turned out!!
