Hero Arts Hocus Pocus - 'tis the Season to be Spooky

Hi crafty friends! Today is the 20th and that means the Hero Arts August releases are available! I have 2 fun Halloween cards to share using their Hocus Pocus collection. This collection features stamps, dies, sentiment press plates and a layering stencil set. Check out what I made!
How cute are these ghosts?!? They are from the Boo To You die set which features 4 ghosts with face options, a witches hat and a broom! The sentiment I used for both cards is from the Spooky Season Betterpress/foil plates. This set has 7 sentiments with coordinating dies.
My second card also uses one of the stencils from the Layering Scattered Stars. I used the smallest stars (stencil 1)with  Stickles Moon Dust Glitter Gel to give the card some glitz! I really love this stencil set, it has 3 layers and each layer has stars getting larger and I can see this being used for a number of cards.
--------------------------
Both of my cards feature pattern paper from Scrapbook.com. My first card uses A2 Spooky paper pad along the right side and my second card uses a purple ombre paper from the A2 Ombre paper pad. This paper pad is such a hack for ink blending ๐Ÿ˜€

Hero Arts August 2025 Die Set of the Month, Trick or Treat

Hi crafty friends! I have some fun news to share, I was asked by Hero Arts to be an influencer!  Each month I will bring you inspiration for the Hero Studio Die set of the month and a variety of their monthly collections. Today I'm sharing a card using the August Hero Studio Die set which costs $25 a month and includes shipping!
You can check out all the Hero Studio Subscriptions HERE.
Scroll down for a full list of supplies.
Club subscription info:
The new subscription sign up window is from the 1st to the 27th. Continuing Subscriptions will charge on the 3rd of each month and ships the first 4-7 business days of the month.
This month's theme is Halloween and I'm here for it! The die set features 5 frames and a variety of Halloween icons to mix and match! I started out by using a piece of A2 Spooky paper pad as my base. I die cut the frames with satin gold cardstock and then inked Bristol Smooth cardstock with Villainous Potion and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. Then I spritzed it with both Villainous Potion and Frozen Fog and used it behind the frames. I die cut the icons out of black cardstock and printed off the sentiment from my computer.
Just look at that shine! I love how this turned out.

Little Pink Houses Christmas card

Hi everyone! I have a quick and easy Christmas card to share today. It's using a Layering Stencil set from Hero Arts called Layering Holiday Neighborhood. It's 3 stencils which makes it easy to pick your colors, ink and go! Here's how it turned out.
I used 3 light colored inks and in hind sight I could have gone with one of the greens a bit darker, but it's still really cute. I stamped and die cut out the little kittie from the Winter Mail Critters. The critters in this stamp set are holding an envelope, so the set could be used for Valentines and birthdays too!
You might be able to see in the photo the glitter paste stenciled over the Christmas tree, roof, snowflake and some star accents? I stenciled those with the green color and then went over it with Stickles Moon Dust Gel which added the perfect amount of sparkle!

Products used on this card
Hero Arts Layering Holiday Neighborhood (currently sold out, sign up to be notified)
My Favorite Things Stitched Scallop Edge rectangle frame
Hero Arts Holiday Message Transfers (for sentiment)
Spellbinders Christmas Blooms die set (flower accent)
Catherine Pooler ink in Minted and In the Park; Stampin up imk in Fresh Freesia
Copic markers

Hero Arts September Stay Crafty Challenge - Guest Designer

Hi everyone! I am excited to be the September guest designer for the Hero Arts Stay Crafty Challenge and play along with their talented team this month. The theme for September is "I'll be there for you" i.e. a friendship card which is such a fun and broad theme!
Check out my card.
My card uses the beautiful Bee Florals Window die set and colored with the coordinating Bee Florals Layering Stencil set. I love how this clever die set cuts out the center and cuts into the florals giving allowing for so much dimension. I curled up the ends of the leaves giving it a more 3D look.
I stenciled the flowers with vibrant purples and leaves with cool greens -absolute favorites of mine. For the bees wings, I kept it white and added touches of T0 and T1 copic markers.
 Supplies used on this card:
 Stickles in Diamond (flower centers)

Pretty Pink Poinsettias

Hi everyone! I am playing along in the Hero Arts October Stay Crafty challenge which is Merry Everything. Well, I just so happen to have the lovely Paper Layering Poinsettia dies from HA and they were on my desk ready to be used.

I chose to go with pink colors because of all the glorious pink Christmas cards I've been seeing on Instagram. I do make a few each year, but this year may be the year to ramp it up. These turned out so so pretty.

I made the background using the new Holiday Flora embossing folder from Gina K Designs and WOW! Isn't it fabulous?

Holiday Blooms die set (Accent greenery)
Silver foil (for sentiment)
