Spellbinders November 2024 Small Die and Stencil Clubs

  Hi everyone! Its November 13th and that means the Spellbinders Club Kits are here and the sign up window for the clubs is open!! Today I'm sharing a card using both the Small Die of the Month and the Stencil of the Month club kits.

NOVEMBER 2024 SMALL DIE AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH

This month's Small Die is called "Birthday Bliss" and features an adorable turtle, sloth, birthday balloons and more. It's super cute!!

The Stencil set is called "Squared Away" and has 5 layering stencils, each layer builds on each other with squares and rectangles. It has a fun retro vibe.

For my background I used 3 of the stencils. I like leaving a bit of white space. I used Distress Oxide inks (colors listed below) in aquas and purple and thought these happy colors were perfect for a birthday card. Miss turtle looks like she's ready to party with her purple gems, party hat and colorful balloons. I added a few star accents which were from the cloud details die that came in the set, cut from silver mirror cardstock, which gave the perfect amount of glitz!

OCTOBER SMALL DIE AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH

This month's Small Die is called "Festive Friends" and features an adorable penguin, polar bear and some string lights. It's super cute!!

The Stencil set is called "Baubles and Festive Background" and has 4 layering stencils, 2 create ornaments and 2 creates a fun pattern.

For my background I used glossy gel with one of the stencils on a solid piece from the Snow Days paper pad. I die cut the polar bear sweater from the same papers. I love the soft colors in this paper pad and let them guide me for the entire card. That penguin is the absolute cutest! It's hard to see in the picture, I used white glitter foam for his santa hat I love the extra something glitter foam and cardstock brings to cards. If you love the penguin, stay tuned you will see him again in another card using the Wax Seal of the Month!

I just love how this turned out!

SEPTEMBER SMALL DIE AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH

This month's Small Die is called "Autumn Scare Crow" and features a scarecrow with accessories, a sign, pumpkin and crow. It's super cute.

The Stencil set is called "Colorful Pumpkins" and has 4 layering stencils that creates a pumpkin and gourd background.

I had some fun with my stencil colors adding a pop of teal blue with the yellow and oranges with the pumpkins. I love to have fun with my colors every once in awhile.

Spellbinders July 2024 Small Die, Wax Seal and Stencil of the Month

 Hi everyone! It's been a super busy few weeks and I almost forgot to post my second card using the July Spellbinders Club Kits! Today I'll be sharing inspiration for the Stencil of the Month and Wax Seal of the Month. If you missed my card using the Small Die of the Month you can find it HERE.

JULY 2024 SMALL DIE, STENCIL AND WAX SEAL OF THE MONTH

 

This month's Small Die is called "Skating into the Holidays" and features an ice skate along with gorgeous poinsettia flower and lots of greenery and berries to adorn it.

The Stencil set is called "Sprigs and Bow" and has 3 layering stencils and a mask for the bow portion. I only used the 2 sprigs stencils for my background. The berries accent berries in the sprigs are stenciled on with Ruby Glitter Pops of Color, and it's the perfect amount of sparkle!

The Wax Seal is called "Joyful Snowflake" and is a perfect simple single snowflake that is sized the entire wax seal stamp. It's so lovely!

I wanted to add a poinsettia cluster and have my wax seal peeking out from the petals, but I didn't want to cover up the pretty stenciled background. So I made an open frame using oen of my go-to basic shape dies sets, the Nested Postage Labels & Tag die set. I think it gives the perfect frame for the cluster and sentiment and allows the background to be seen.

I love how this turned out.

Spellbinders June 2024 Club kits: Small Die and Stencil

JUNE 2024 SMALL DIE AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH

June's Small Die of the Month is called Summertime Wade Pool and features a dancin' hippo, dancin' ice cream cone and pool floaties for them. I chose to use Ms. Hippo and gave her bright blue sun glasses that coordinate with her pool floatie! I added touches of Shimmer to the pink beach ball centers and pool floatie with my favorite Glitter Brush marker in Clear Shimmer.

For the background, I used Stencil of the Month, which is called Summertine Graphics. This is a set of 5 A2 layering stencils that create summertime backgrounds, a cute beach ball design, a sun peeking over layered ocean waves, and a sun peeking out from some clouds.

I used the beach ball stencils and ink blended with Distress Oxide inks.

Spellbinders May 2024 Club Kits: Wax Seal, Stencil and Small Die of the Month

Hi everyone! I have 1 last card to share using the Spellbinders May 2024 club kits! I combined 3 kits on my card, the Wax Seal, Stencil and a few elements from the Small Die of the Month.

MAY 2024 SMALL DIE, WAX SEAL AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH
 

I love making super clean and simple cards and this one was fun to make. I originally had some larger leaves die cut and even another cute parrot, but in the end I edited it down to 2 sprigs and 3 flowers 😍

This month's Wax Seal of the month is called Tropical Hi and is an oval shape with a flower, leaf, sprig and the sentiment. It has deep grooves which allows you to add metallic ink easily. The wax beads included (in my kit) was the Matcha color which is a fav of mine! I love the design on this seal, it's so happy!

For the background on the circle I used the Stencil of the Month with the color Matcha. I meant to use 2 different greens, like my last card, but I accidentally used the same ink for both stencils and just went with it! The color looks great with the Matcha wax beads.

I added pink rhinestone gems to the flowers centers, even the flower in the wax seal, for a pop of accent color! It was impossible to get the little gems to show pink in the photos, but it looks great IRL.

MAY 2024 SMALL DIE AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH

May's Small Die of the Month is called Tropical Friends and features a parrot, a toucan and tropical foliage for them. This die set is SUPER cute and I can see this being a fast sell out!

I googled Toucans and Parrots and was AMAZED at all the bright colors these birds can have. They almost seem fake they are so vibrant and colorful! I chose bright fun colors and wanted to keep the background clean and white so they could POP off the page. I used the Leafy Helix EF for some texture.

MAY 2024 SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH
 

For my second card I combined the Small Die with Stencil of the Month, which is called Tropical Spray and has 2 layering stencils with abstract water or wave droplets.

I wanted a fun shaker element for this (I'm still trying to make at least 1 shaker card a month), so I used the ovals from  the Fran's Frames die set and filled it up with some pretty pink and green shaker elements. I used green inks with the stencil for a nice monochromatic backdrop for the pretty pink parrot. I really love how both of these turned out.

Spellbinders April 2024 Club kits: Small Die, Wax Seal and Stencil

Hi everyone! Its April 5th and that means the reveal of Spellbinders Club Kits is here! Today I'll be sharing inspiration for the Small Die of the Month, Wax Seal of the Month and Stencil of the Month club kits.

APRIL 2024 SMALL DIE, WAX SEAL AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH

April's Small Die of the Month is called Faux Stitched Sentiments and Floss and features the components of stitching Floss and 4 sentiments! I combined it with April's Stencil of the Month, called Rainbow Floss Background which is has 4 stencils and fills an A2 card background with 6 floss images.

I stenciled the background with Light and Dark Spruce inks and trimmed it down to 4 floss pieces. I added a small strip of black glitter cardstock from the Jewel Tone Glitter Cardstock pack and adhered it down the left side. And of course my card has a few flower accents, these are from the Mini Blooms and Sprigs die set along with some gold pearls.

This month's Wax Seal of the Month is called Cross Stitch Heart and I really love it. I think it can be used for many occasions as well as on envelopes. The impression is nice and deep, and I thought the heart stitches were perfect for a Sending Love sentiment. The wax beads this month are Cloudy Sky which is a gorgeous french blue which set the color scheme for all my cards!

I used a few die sets from the Sealed by Spellbinders collection on this card. One of my favorites called Sealed Squiggles along with Sealed Wildflowers and Sealed Leaf Sprigs. For some extra shine I added some Clear Shimmer Glimmer Brush Marker to the die cut flowers.
I thought the color palette in the Butterfly Garden 6x6 paper pack and picked one with some flowers and leaves down both sides. I fussy cut a butterfly from one of the papers as an accent along with silver pearls. I just love how it turned out!

Spellbinders | March 2024 Wax Seal, Stencil and Small Die of the month

 Hi everyone! I'm back today with a card using some of the March club kits by Spellbinders. I used the Small Die of the Month, Stencil of the Month and Wax Seal of the Month.

MARCH WAX SEAL, SMALL DIE AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH

This card uses the adorable owl from the Small Die of the Month called "Wise Owl" which I placed on a die cut and embossed panel over a stenciled background using the Stencil of the Month called "Dynamic Backgrounds".

Isn't this owl the cutest? I mean just look at the adorable purple glasses! I stenciled the background using 1 of the 2-step patterns from this month's stencil set which comes with two 2-layered stencils (one coordinates with the March Embossing Folder) and 1 stencil that stands alone.

I used my beloved Be Bold Blooms die set for some accent flowers and I placed them around the gorgeous Wax Seal of the month which is called "Congrats on your new chapter". I hand picked the rich raspberry colored wax beads from the Pink Mix bead pack and added some gold metallic ink to the letters.

Spellbinders | February Wax Seal and Small Die of the month

 Hi everyone! I'm back home and have 2 cards to share using the Small Die of the Month, Stencil of the Month and Wax Seal of the Month February club kits by Spellbinders.

FEBRUARY SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH

February's Small Die of the Month is called Rain Boot Bouquet and features a rain boot with a variety of spring flowers! Super cute with so many possibilities. I mean rain boots come in every color and pattern.

I chose to make a neutral gray boot with brown soles and placed inside bright white daffodils, hot pink tulips and tiny flowers with pops of blue! I kept things simple by using a piece of springy gingham patterned paper as the background. I added Star Dust Stickles to the flower centers for that extra pop of sparkle.

FEBRUARY WAX SEAL AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH

 

This card uses my beloved Be Bold Blooms die set flowers and I placed them over a lightly stenciled background and it features the Wax Seal of the month which is called Lily of the Valley.

For the stenciled background, I used one of 4 floral background stencils from the Stencil of the Month which is called Spring Stencil Backgrounds. You can see my other card using a different stencil on this blog post.

I used Rustic Wilderness distress oxide ink with the stencil as it matched the Fern wax beads which were included in the Wax Seal kit. I die cut the flowers and greenery from rich colors that I thought complimented the Fern wax seal. I added hints of gold to the flowers and gold pen to the details on the wax seal.

Spellbinders | February Stencil of the month club

Hi everyone! Its February 4th and that means the reveal of Spellbinders Club Kits is here! Today I'll be sharing inspiration for the Stencil of the Month club. I'm heading out of town a few days, so stay tuned later for cards using the Wax Seal of the Month and Small Die of the Month club kits.

This month Spellbinders did something a little different with the stencils and instead of layering stencils, the 4 stencils are all stand alone backgrounds! And they are beautiful!

STENCIL OF THE MONTH

 

My card uses the Stencil of the Month, called Spring Stencil Backgrounds. Each of the 4 backgrounds have a floral theme and are perfect for ink blending or with paste. I used the gorgeous Paper Glitz in the color Pink Prom Night in my stencil to create this super sparkly background.

I wanted to let the beautiful stencil to be seen, so I added some flowers in the center circle area. I used the beautiful Vintage Florals die set and chose cardstock that matched the Pink Prom Night and sponged a darker color pink to some of the edges to help the layers pop. Lastly I added a few black gems for the finishing touches.

Spellbinders January 2024 Club kits

 Happy New Year everyone! It's a brand new year of Spellbinders Club Kits. As of December, Spellbinders launched the Stencil of the month club and said good bye to the Card Making Club Kit (some are still available in the Past Club kits section).

SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH

 

This month's Small Die of the Month. The set is called Sitting Pretty and features some floral images with a cute little birdie sitting in one of them. I love anything floral, so this one is a winner in my book!

I used an older die set to create a frame for the flower and buds and went a little crazy with a couple of my cards this month and added a little splatter! I discovered the hack of using a water color brush. I dip it in the ink and when done, can squeeze water on a towel and its clean and ready for the next time!

WAX SEAL OF THE MONTH

This month's Wax Seal of the Month is called Made with Love and I really love it. I think it can be used for so many occasions as well as on envelopes. The impression is nice and deep, so it was very easy to add gold pen highlights to it. The wax beads this month are a gorgeous royal blue which set the color scheme for all my cards!

I used a few die sets from the Sealed with Spellbinders collection on this card. One of my favorites called Sealed Squiggles, Sealed Wildflowers and of course Sealed Twine. 

STENCIL OF THE MONTH

 

And finally, here is my card using the Stencil of the Month, called Lively Floral. Now this month's stencil set is a bit different, it actually coordinates with the Glimmer of the Month plate set. You don't have to use it with the glimmer plate, but if you get both clubs it's a nice bonus! And if you get 1 club and not the other, you can sign up this month to get the coordinating piece (don't worry, you can cancel next month if you don't want to keep the subscription).
