Throwback Thursday: Finley the Fox card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to another Throwback Thursday. Happy Thanksgiving! Today I am sharing my favorite fall card that I made last October. I made this using the Woodland Tales collection by Spellbinders. The collection is sold out on Spellbinders website, but you can still find it on the Scrapbook.com website!
This card uses several die sets from the collection. The floral is from the Woodland Tales Floral die set, the fox is from the Finley The Fox die set and the sentiment is from the Woodland Tales Sentiment die set (sadly the fern die is sold out).
I made 4 cards from this collection. Here is a pic of all four.

SEPTEMBER 2025 LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH

This month's Large Die of the Month is called Acorn Acres and features an adorable acorn house, cute squirrel, lots of leaves, acorns and much more!! Super cute!
How cute is this little squirrel and his acorn house? To start, I chose a fun pattern from the A2 Cozy Autumn paper pad and adhered it to my card base. I then used the Essentials Arches die set and die cut Antique White Brushed Metallic cardstock as the backdrop for the acorn house and all the leaves. The sentiment is from the BetterPress set called Autumn Sentiments pressed with peppermint ink. I love how this turned out!

Autumn Archives collection, 2 card designs

Hi crafty friends! I have 2 fall cards to share using the new Autumn Archives collection from Spellbinders designed by Kelly Bangs. This fun collection has die sets, pattern paper, ephemera, alphabet stickers and more.
💥Check out what I made and scroll down for a complete supply list.💥
I really love collections like this. The ephemera is gorgeous and there is enough in the pack for dozens of cards. My first card features the Autumn Archives cardstock ephemera and the Autumn Archives 12x12 printed paper. I added pops of sparkle with some orange glitter cardstock and some glitter drops.
My second card features the Changing Trees die set, the Autumn Sentiments Press Plates/die set, (I hot foiled it with gold on black cardstock) and the Autumn Archives 12x12 printed paper. Like my first card, I added some sparkle with the orange glitter cardstock. I love how these turned out!

Hey Pumpkin - Waffle Flower Pumpkin Patch die and stencil set

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a fun pumpkin card using a few new goodies from Waffle Flower. Their fall release is amazing! If you missed my card using their Sunflower die set, you can find it HERE. Check out what I made and scroll down to see the supplies used.
WAFFLE FLOWER PUMPKIN PATCH DIE AND STENCIL SET

I used the Pumpkin Patch die, which is a cover plate that cuts the pumpkins, leaves and squiggles into the cardstock, but not completely out. The coordinating Pumpkin Patch stencil set colors the pumpkins and leaves. There are 2 layers, one for the pumpkins and the second for the stems and leaves. The sentiment is from the Hey Pumpkin die. I like these little sentiment dies, they are so cute and only $4!
I wanted to color my pumpkins with a bit of whimsy so I pulled out the Distress Oxide ink blending cards I keep on hand and chose the colors: Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber and the leaves use Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio.
To add a bit of sparkle I traced the squiggles with my sparkle pen and added some gems. This is flat and can be mailed with a regular stamp. Gotta love that!
What do you think? Did I go a little too far with the whimsy? I'm still on the fence...

Pretty Pink Posh Mushroom Shaker card

Hi crafty friends! I'm sharing a super cute shaker card using some goodies from Pretty Pink Posh. I am new to PPP, but I absolutely love their shaped shaker dies and I fell in love with this mushroom shaker as soon as I saw it!
Check out what I made and scroll down for a complete list of supplies.
I combined some of my favorite die sets for this card. I started out with some of my favorite fall papers from the Cozy A2 paper pad. I used the Mushroom Shaker Die set for the main focal point. I used flowers from the Build-a-Wreath die set by Spellbinders and the fabulous foliage branches are from  the Classic Foliage die set by Alex Syberia Designs. 💖
My blooms are layered with white cardstock and vellum to give them a light feel. The foliage is die cut from the Harvest A2 cardstock paper pad. The solids coordinate perfectly with the Cozy patterns making it easy to look put together! I love how this turned out!

Waffle Flower Peachy Sunflowers slimline card

Hi crafty friends! I love sunflowers and may have a minor obsession with them. I just HAD to have the new Sunflower die set by Waffle Flower when it was released a few weeks ago. No joke, I think this is my 4th sunflower die set 💖
To start my card, I looked through the Woodland A2 paper pad and found this pretty gingham paper. I liked the soft peach, pale yellow and white colors and used them as my starting point. I die cut my Sunflowers from a matching peach and leaves from a dusty blue color, both from the Harvest A2 cardstock paper pad. I used the Mini Slimline Lacy Layers die set for the card shape and popped a piece of brown cardstock between the die cuts to tie in the sentiment.
I sponged the flowers and leaves with a matching ink for a little depth and used a Copic marker along the veins. Lastly I used a couple Glitter Brush markers to add some shimmer and added a few Glitter Drop accents. I love how this turned out!

Pink pastel fall wax seal card

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing another fall themed card using a couple items from Spellbinders' great new fall collection called Falling Leaves. I used the Oak Forest 3D Embossing Folder and the Pumpkin Trio 3D Wax Seal. Check it out!
PUMPKIN TRIO 3D WAX SEAL AND OAK FOREST 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER

This Pumpkin Trio 3D Wax Seal is STUNNING. I absolutely love the dimension in these 3D wax seal stamps. You really can see the difference it makes.
I wanted to change things up from the traditional fall colors and try something new and light. I used the Autumn Leaves die set (this is a must have in your stash for fall cards) and die cut a variety of leaves in white, ivory and pale pink.
For the embossed background, I used the Oak Forest 3D Embossing Folder. I tried inking it with a few color combos and ended up keeping it white. I can't help myself and I loved the way it turned out.

Autumn is here! Falling Leaves plate and September Wax Seal of the month -2 card designs

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing 2 fun fall cards. Fall is here whether we're ready or not, and this month Spellbinders has a great new fall collection called Falling Leaves and the Monthly Club kits also have a fall theme.
First up is a card using some of the Falling Leaves collection with a few added fall accent die cuts.
AUTUMN RAIN PRESS PLATE AND STENCIL BUNDLE

One of my FAVORITE things to do with the BetterPress plates is to foil them! I love how the BP plates can be pressed or foiled. Given their multi-use, I wonder if Spellbinders will continue to make them and quietly stop making Hot Foil plates?
I chose to foil the Autumn Rain plate with matte gold foil and colored it in with the coordinating stencil set (which has 5 stencils). I used a blue teal color for the umbrella for a nice pop of color and stenciled the leaves with a nice green turning to red. I added some fall leaf die cuts with a simple 1 layer sunflower as accents.
Next I have a fall card using the September Wax Seal of the Month, the seal stamp is called "Falling Leaves" and is an oval shape with a variety of fall leaves. I used the Autumn Mix of wax beads and highlighted the leaves with my DecoColor gold pen.
SEPTEMBER 2024 WAX SEAL OF THE MONTH AND AUTUMN SEALED SPRIGS

I used a couple of my older Sealed Stems sets with the wax seal. I love all of these stems and they can be used without wax seals. A lovely bow, circle sentiment, lots of possibilities. I wanted to use some of the fall papers that I had in my stash and used the patterned and solids from the paper pad.
I love how these turned out!

SEPTEMBER SMALL DIE AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH

This month's Small Die is called "Autumn Scare Crow" and features a scarecrow with accessories, a sign, pumpkin and crow. It's super cute.
The Stencil set is called "Colorful Pumpkins" and has 4 layering stencils that creates a pumpkin and gourd background.
I had some fun with my stencil colors adding a pop of teal blue with the yellow and oranges with the pumpkins. I love to have fun with my colors every once in awhile.

Fall Pumpkins Needlepoint card

 Hi everyone!
Calling all needlepoint crafters!
Spellbinders just launched a new collection designed by the talented Nicol Sphor called Nichol's Needlework and it's fabulous! It features 5 die sets, one sentiment set and there are even mini embroidery frames that come in a 3 pack. Check out what I made.
My pumpkin fall card uses the Gathering Stitches and the Faux Embroidered Pumpkin die sets. The background uses the Argyle Plaid 3D embossing folder, with a touch of green ink blended on the top.
I love this pumpkin die, its the perfect shape and size for cards. I added a few copic marker accents to give the pumpkin more depth. The set comes with super cute flowers, leaves and curly Qs to adorn it. The sentiment is from the Serenade Sentiment die set. I added a few Berry colored gems to give the little flowers a bit of sparkle.

Fall wreath card with my favorite wreath as inspiration

Hi everyone! I have a fun wreath card to share today. This card is made with the new Build-a-Wreath die set by Spellbinders which is the main die set in the Beautiful Wreaths collection. There are so many add on die sets you can get for your wreaths you should check them all out. I have the Christmas Wreath Add-Ons die set so stay tuned for a card using it!
For my card I used my own fall wreath I hang on my door as inspiration for this card. This is my second year hanging it and I loved it so much I put it out in Spring as well. I brought it inside and brought over my cardstock swatches to chose my colors. In all honesty, my card didn't turn out quite like I imagined, but I fussed around for quite some time and finally called it good.
Here is my inspitation wreath hanging on my front door.
When I was building my wreath, I found it challenging to arranging my die cuts and keep them in a circle shape, so I die cut a circle ring from vellum and used that as my base to adhere my die cuts to. The extra bonus of doing this, was once everything was glued into place, I was able to pick up my entire wreath and place it on a variety of embossed cardstock to see which one I liked best.
The wreath ended up slightly larger than I imagined, so I made the card base a 5" square and it fits quite nicely on this size. I will not put this card in an envelope, I will place it inside a gift bag.

Supplies used on this card:

Build-a-Wreath die set (Spellbinders)
Build-a-Wreath die set (Scrapbook.com)

Spellbinders Cardstock in Sage, Stampin' Up Cardstock in Barely Banana, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink
